Comments: Took his knight pledge at the end of the last school year and spent the folloing holidays beginning his training. Has a dagger imbuded with Demon Strike, which he always keeps on him (usually in boot if not on belt) - it was a Knighthood present from family. Struck up a friendship with Friday when she started attending their Church, and they have since started courting (although they do more patrolling together than "dinner and a movie" type stuff). When Friday was kidnapped by the telepathic vampire Dylan, Eron immediately went after them. He was successful in his defeat of Dylan and his rescue of Friday, and didn't realise until he had gotten home late that night that he had inadvertantly completed his paladin quest. Apparently practicing your paladin vows for the ceremony after you graduate does actually count.

Power: Charges inorganic objects with kinetic energy (this generally results in them exploding). Low level telekinesis. Hypnotic Charm. Can see reasonably well in the dark.

Family: Married to Rogue. Adopted father, Jean-Luc LeBeau. Ex-wife Bella Donna Boudreaux.

Comments: Gambit was left at an orphanage as a baby on account of his unusual eyes. As he grew up, his eyes also made him a target for teasing by the other children. As a result, Gambit found all the good hiding spots on the grounds, and one day even found a way to escape. At first, Gambit would return from the outside world to the orphanage, but eventually he fell into a group of child thieves who taught him out to pick-pocket amongst other things, and he didn't return at all.
One day, Gambit was caught picking the pocket of Jean-Luc LeBeau, head of the New Orleans Thieves Guild. Jean-Luc was charmed by his audacity and adopted him. Which his adoption came further training and eventually initiation into the thieves guild.
Eventually, like all teenage boys, Gambits' eye turned to women. His early escapades had a few unexpected backfires which forced a lesson in a certain thing called "discretion". Nevertheless, he remains a self proclaimed "ladies' man".
Gambit met Bella Donna Boudereax, grand daughter of the head of the Assassins Guild, with whom the Thieves Guild were rivals. Although the two became close, ultimately, Gambit considered her a challenge and their relationship broke off sometimes later. Some months after this, Jean-Luc and Bella Donna's grandfather decided to arrange a marriage between the two in an effort to bring peace between their guilds.
The marriage lasted all of ten minutes. Bella Donna's brother, Julien, objected to Gambit (and let's face it, with good reason), and challenged him to a duel. Despite the fact that Julien was a trained assassin, Gambit bested him. Unfortunately, Julien's death angered the Assassins Guild and Gambit was exiled from New Orleans. His marriage to Bella Donna was annulled.
Gambit eventually made his way to New York, where he was stuck pick-pocketing again until he could locate a fence and start "earning" enough to actually get off the streets. During this time, he met Rogue and the X-men. Although attracted to Rogue, her inability to actually touch people at the time forced them to remain friends. Through Rogue, Gambit met Demetria Edgerton-Smythe, whom he started dating. Ironically, soon after Gambit and Dem started dating, Rogue received technology which would enable her to touch.
Three months later, Gambit and Rogue slept together. Their infidelity was brought to light immediately after the fact curtosy of Rogue's then current telepathic boyfriend Jono, and it went without saying that he and Demetria was over. Knowing Dem's temperment (and that of her brother and closest friends), Gambit decided to avoid returning to the mansion for awhile. Gambit regretted giving into the temptation of sleeping with Rogue before breaking things off with Dem, especially as he sincerely deplores cheating.
Meanwhile, Gambit's career made an abrupt upswing when he was noticed by Johnny Bianchi. He now had regular work and a handsome paycheque to go with it. His skills both as a thief and as a mutant rapidly increased his standing within Bianchi Enterprises and he quickly became of one Johnny's "trusted associates" (although he would never trust him around his daughter, Joey - Gambit's reputation preceded him). While Rogue went traveling around the world, Gambit got to know Joey Bianchi rather well. Although Joey's interest in him was quickly apparent, nothing really came of their relationship romanically. They have since remained friends.
One month after Rogue returned, Bella Donna began working for Johnny. On the night that Bella Donna and Rogue inevitably met, Gambit introduced Rogue as his fiancee, hoping to spare Rogue Bella Donna's attitude, Unfortunately, this had the opposite effect, and their 'engagement' became common knowledge. The following weeks were rather uncomfortable for the couple, but Gambit decided that he actually did want to marry Rogue and finally proposed. Rogue and Gambit married seven months later.
The real trouble started when Gambit found out that Rogue's powers weren't completely under control after all. At first knowing that they were working intermittently on a low level didn't seem like too much of a problem - until Gambit saw his eyes in Rogue's face. That kinda freaked him out a little and since then has been afraid (although he'd never admit it aloud) that Rogue is slowly absorbing him to death.
Meanwhile, Bella Donna is hired by some unknown person to murder Johnny. At first Gambit refuses to get involved in the war between Johnny's sons Andy and Donny over their inheritances. However, when he and Rogue are setup at the bank, Gambit steps behind Joey - the only one of Johnny's kids he believes actually has a good head on their shoulders.
Gambit always carries around a deck of cards (they make handy explosives and you can also play games when bored!). He also has a telescopic metal staff, is fluent in both English and French, skilled in hand to hand combat, acrobatics and sleight of hand. He's also aglie and fast (except y'know... for other stuff that's more fun when drawn out), and has a pet red fuzzle, creatively named "Red".

Family: Mother - Nyx. Father - Zac Hanson. Siblings - Kanika, Faolan, Serafina, Victory (Nyx) and numerous others on Zac's side. Extended family - Hanson family, gods and goddesses of Egypt, Priss and Sabre and their children.

Comments: All of the kittens are very intelligent, and know English and Ancient Egyptian. Third born. Between a rather extreme 'growth spurt' and time spent in an alternate dimension, Saku appears to be remaining stable in appearing in his late teens. Was originally only capable of fire magic, but as he grew older he found that he was also able to command protection magic, although not as well as he can fire magic. He has also found that he cannot harm women or children (unless they attack him first). Not that he usually has any reason to.

Power: Super senses. Shift from cat to human form. Extremely strong with fire magic and moderately so in protection magic. Hydrokinetic and atom anipulation from his father's side. About half as strong again as a normal human.
Family: Mother - Nyx. Father - Zac Hanson. Siblings - Kanika, Faolan, Serafina, Victory (Nyx) and numerous others on Zac's side. Extended family - Hanson family, gods and goddesses of Egypt, Priss and Sabre and their children.
Comments: All of the kittens are very intelligent, and know English and Ancient Egyptian. Third born. Between a rather extreme 'growth spurt' and time spent in an alternate dimension, Saku appears to be remaining stable in appearing in his late teens. Was originally only capable of fire magic, but as he grew older he found that he was also able to command protection magic, although not as well as he can fire magic. He has also found that he cannot harm women or children (unless they attack him first). Not that he usually has any reason to.
