3 January 2004 - Julie's in a coma and she's still a bad influence

Rogue and Gambit

Gambit arrived at the mansion with a box in his hands. He shifted the box to the one hand, and knocked when he arrived at the door.

"Come in," came Rogue's voice.

Gambit opened the door and stepped inside.

"Remy!" she greeted cheerfully. "Don't look at him like that. You don't even look at Jono like that."

"Afternoon cheri," Gambit smiled. "I came ta return yo' fuzzles."

"Aww, thanks. Ah hope they weren't too much trouble."

"Not'ing I couldn't handle."

"Good," Rogue said, opening up the box and letting them out. "Hey, didja miss me?"

Four of them, including Liberty, attached themselves to Rogues' person.

"Guess so," she grinned. "Don't think like that either. Please, please, please don't think like that. It's a wonder you can even look at him with thoughts like that."

"And how was Australia?" Gambit asked.

"It was good," Rogue smiled. "Maybe I should go... oh wait... this is my room. Maybe he should go..."

"Have a good Christmas?"

"Yep. You?"

"Sure t'ing."

Gambit barely had the words out of his mouth before Rogue had her arms around him and her lips pressed to his. This is... unexpected to say the least but he - oh hang on, wasn't she dating someone? Actually... so was he...

He pulled away softly.

"Cheri?" he asked. "What about... what's his name?"

Rogue stared back at him.

"Bah, I never had a boyfriend I didn't cheat on."

"What about Dem?"

Gambit returned her gaze. If they did this, they would be cheating. He hated -

Rogue kissed him again, cutting off his train of thought. All thoughts of why he shouldn't went out of his head as he responded.

Where they went from there is entirely up to the imagination. But let me put it this way: Julie's in a coma and she's still a bad influence.
