Zac looked around at the party hall. Somehow his house had showed up with a party hall. A rather big one at that. This was the final straw for Zac and he was totally prepared to believe that his house really was magic. He should at some point get the opinion of one of the magic types to confirm Saku and Orion's assesment. Not that he didn't trust them, but information was always useful.
Nonetheless, he had gone to a great deal of trouble (with helf from his fellow residents) to decorate the place proper, and gather a nice big supply of fireworks. Insert evil laugh here.
Soon people should start arriving.
This was going to be great!
Rachel, Kate, Jessica and Frankie
Rachel, Kate, Jessi, Isabel and Frankie all showed up. The girls had gone on a girls' day out, and then met up with Frankie who was making fun of them. Rachel deposited Annie, Anakin and Krit in the nursery with Ella, and joined the fun.
"Typical Zac," Rach said when she saw all the fireworks stacked up.
Zac, Isaac and Saku
"Welcome ladies," Zac said, rubbing his hands together gleefully. "Glad you could come."
"Just keep him away from the fireworks," Isaac advised. "I'm not sure he can wait until dark."
Zac laughed evilly.
"Fireworks! Fireworks!" Saku cheered happily.
"He's his father's son," Isaac explained. "Plus, y'know, he does have a strong grasp of fire magic."
Frankie, Rachel, Jessica and Kate
Frankie smiled at the scene. He saw Jessi holding Anakin, singing to him quietly. He couldn't hear what she was saying, so he moved a little closer to her.
"My my, this here Anakin guy,
Maybe Vader, someday later
But now he's just a small fry.
He left his hut and kissed his mommy goodbye,
Saying 'Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi!
Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi.'" Frankie couldn't help but laugh. He
reached out to touch her shoulder.
"Hmm?" She asked.
"You had some lint," he said covering for himself.
Rachel looked at Zac and winked. "I smell romance blooming," she said, cocking her head towards Jess & Frankie.
"Heh, All he could talk about on the plane to Tulsa, was vising the Hansons. And het, he never mentioned any of the guys in particular," Kate said.
"I was wondering why he decided to film his movie in Tulsa instead of LA," Rach said, giggling.
Natalie
"Aww, that's soooo sweeeeet," cooed a new comer, before turning to Kate. "Kate! Hi! You were right, can't miss this place."
Natalie grinned. Her friend Kate had invited her to this party. She felt a little weird about, because hey, Kate was the only one she knew but...
Kate
"Hey Nat," she said, giving her a quick hug. "This is Zac, Isaac, Rachel and Saku, and that's Jess, and Frankie. I think you talked on the phone with him once, right?" Kate said, making quick introductions.
Zac, Isaac and Saku
"Could have done," Natalie smiled. "Nice to meet you all."
Okay wow. She was at a party with Isaac and Zac Hanson. Hello, she had only been a fan for years.
"Hi Nat," Zac said cheerfully. "Wow, we had a friend named Natalia. Any relation?"
"Don't mind Zac," Isaac cut in, "he's an idiot."
Natalie giggled.
"I'm a 'Natalie' not a 'Natalia', and it's usually a last name thing, not a first name thing, Zac."
"Shh!"
"Hi Nat," Saku said. "Me wanna set off fireworkses! Yay! Fireworks!"
"When it's darker," Zac promised.
Orion, Jessica, Rachel and Kate
"Me wanna set off fireworks too!" Orion squealed as he ran in to be hyper with his cousin. It was quite odd seeing somebody who now looked about 17 jumping around, acting like a toddler.
"Orion, you grew up, so grow up!" Jess joked. "You look older than me now."
"We're the same age. now. Wanna be my girlfriend?"
"O, you're a year and a half old, and you're like my cousin. EW!"
"Not to mention the whole bestiality thing, right Zac?" Rachel teased.
"Pardon the insanity and grossness," Kate said to Natalie.
Isaac, Zac and Saku
"It's not the same thing," Zac said. "She was a godling. A goddess now. Just because she is also a cat goddess is completely besides the point."
"I think it's directly related to the point," Isaac said. "And I also think that Orion would be your... umm... Saku is your nephew, and Orion is Saku's cousin on his mothers side... so you aren't actually cousins, Jess."
Natalie looked between everyone. Okay. They were all weird.
"Hey, Dad, Uncle Ike! Can we tie Tad to one of the fireworks and blow him up? And Kylie? Can we blow up Kylie?" Saku asked.
"I thought one of the things Bastet was goddess of was the protection of pregnant women?" Zac questioned.
"That was Nan's job, and now Mama's," Saku replied. "Not mine."
Isaac caught the expression on Natalie's face.
"Uhh, guys? I think we're freaking Natalie out," he said. "It's a long story, but umm, suffice to say Zac had a... fling with Nyx, the Egyptian cat goddess Bastet's daughter. Bastet died last year, and Nyx took her place, and Zac was given custody of their child, Saku. Orion is the son of Nyx's brother Sabre."
"Riiiight..."
"Still weirding you out?"
"Just a little."
"I suppose it would weird you out even more if I pointed out that Saku and Orion were only born last year."
Natalie looked at Orion and Saku with their 17 and 13 year old respectively appearing bodies.
"Yes."
"Hmm, well, let me know when it won't weird you out nad I'll tell you then."
Natalie laughed.
Frankie and Rachel
"Hey, the weather's great, anybody care to join me?" Frankie asked. He was sitting crosslegged on the ceiling.
"I'm famished," Rach said. "Let's grab the munchies."
"Not pregnant again, are you?" Frankie asked.
"No!" Rach said. "Not for at least 2 more years. Meh. First one, then twins! meh. But at least I haven't had 3 sets of twins like Julie."
"C'mon," Kate said to Nat, "Let's eat & party!"
Natalie
Natalie smiled.
"Okay," she said agreeably, then looked up at Frankie. "Comfy up there?"
Frankie and Cassie
"I suppose I should join the party," Frankie said, flying to join everyone else. "Let's grab some food."
Cassie ran in to join her brother and cousin, also acting like a hyper child.
"Can we set the fireworks off yet, Uncle Zac? Please?"
Zac and Saku
Zac looked at the sky.
"Nope, not dark enough yet. But soon."
"Aww," Saku looked wistful. "Hey! Uncle Tay isn't here! Let's get Uncle Tay!"
He began scampering upstairs to Taylor's room.
Cassie, Orion and Kate
Cassie and Orion scampered after Saku.
"My, they're. . . hyper," was all Kate could say.
Isaac, Zac, Tad and Saku
"Ahh," Isaac nodded, "It's all that energy they don't use up during their frequent catnaps."
"Chips anyone?" Zac offered, holding up the bowl. "Plenty of food here, feel free to eat it."
Meanwhile Saku nearly ran into Tad on his way to Taylor's room.
"Watch where you're going," Tad frowned.
"I am," Saku replied cheekily, "you're just in the way all the same."
Saku closed the distance to Taylor's room and knocked on the door.
Taylor
Taylor groaned to himself when he heard the knock. He knew there was a lot of people out there already.
"Yeah?" he called, not even bothering to get up from his desk.
Saku
"Uncle Tay! You've been missing the party!" Saku said. "And we're going have fireworks as soon as it gets dark. Fireworks! You gonna come out and join the fun! Pleaseeee..."
Taylor
"How about you tell me when the fireworks start and I'll come out then for a while?" Taylor suggested, still writing.
Saku
"Aww..." Saku complained.
That would require him going back down, waiting until Zac was willing to start the fireworks, then coming all the way back up again.
Taylor
"If I know your father we won't be waiting long anyway," Taylor smiled a little.
He looked upa t the window, noticing the sun was beginning to set.
Cassie and Orion
"Well, hurry up, Uncle Tay," Cassie and Orion saiod, though technically, Tay wasn't their uncle. Then they dragged Saku 3 feet down the hall.
"Look, catnip!" Orion said. "I found it under the Christmas tree!"
Saku and Tad
Saku frowned, and spotted Tad looming nearby.
"Who put catnip under the Christmas Tree?" he asked. "Better not let Dad see it. He doesn't want me to do any drugs. So no catnip, and no antifreeze, and kero only in moderation when I'm older."
Tad passed them and knocked briefly on Taylor's door.
"Taylor," he said, "You could probably go down there if you want. For a party it's not really all that crowded."
Taylor
Taylor hesitated at that, then threw his pen down and made for the door. Opening it, he leant against the doorway.
"As much as it kills me to say it and need reassurance," he began, "I'll only even attempt it if you are right there. We both know we hate it, but I do nto want anything to happen to any member of this family, and no one outside needs to know about what's going on."
His eyes searched Tad's, somewhat desperately.
Cassie
Cassie looked confused to Saku. "Catnip is like caffeine. Are you allowed to have fizzy drinks?"
Tad and Saku
"Not a problem," Tad said solomnly. "I don't want anything to happen either."
And despite everything else going on, that was totally true, lacking in all ulterior motive.
"Yeah, but as I recall, caffeine is a drug too," Saku grinned. "And caffeine doesn't make me go off the wall in hyperness in small doses. One sniff of that stuff and I'll be gone. Nope, there were reasony why Dad laid certain ground rules, and I have no objection to following them. Especially when I already broke 'em once and found out why he made the rule."
Cassie and Orion
"It just makes us hyper," Cassie said. "Maybe 'cause you're half alien, and we're half vampire?"
"That's prolly it," Orion agreed.
Taylor
Taylor hesitated thoughtfully, his eyes to the floor.
"Ok," he nodded nervously.
"Let's do this."
He stepped through the doorway and made his way t the top of the staircase, hesitating as he heard all the chatter from below.
Tad, Saku and Zac
Now it was Saku's turn to look confused.
"Uhh, makes me hyper too... didn't I just say that? - Oh look, Uncle Tay's out."
He scampered over to Taylor, Tad hovering close by.
"Hi Uncle Tay! I thought you were gonna wait for the fireworks... oh but its getting dark now so maybe Dad'll let us light some. Yay!"
Without waiting for a response, Saku practically jumped down all the stairs at once and ran over to Zac.
"Fireworks now? Please?"
Zac, (who had jumped at Saku's sudden arrival), glanced out the window.
"Soon. Promise."
"Yay."
Taylor
"I remember when that used to be you," Taylor said suddenly, coming up behind Zac as well.
Zac and Saku
"It still is," Zac replied. "Oh, what the hey, lets get 'em out now. Hey, Saku? Wanna get Cassie and Orion?"
"Okay! Yay!" Saku exclaimed, and raced back up the stairs to his cousins. "Fireworks! Fireworks now! Yay! Come down now! Fireyworkses!"
Meanwhile, dancing to the music with her newfound friends, Natalie paused briefly after a small spin. That was weird. There was some sort of... mind turbluence coming from somewhere. Not knowing who it was coming from (she certainly hadn't noticed it earlier), Natalie let her power work on calming it. Felt like it could use some calming, although she wasn't going ton concentrate too hard on it - it was a party after all!
Taylor
Taylor grinned at Zac's reaction, before stepping back to survey the scene. It was about then that the sensors in his mind suddenly 'went off', and he began to feel dizzy.
He took hold of a nearby chair and blinked, trying to clear it. It wasn't anything to do with his alterego - he normally got a gut feeling whenever that was coming. This was purely in his head.
He started wondering if he should have come down at all.
Cassie
Cassie cocked her head and did a calming charm. She thought that Taylor might be braver if it was a little quieter downstairs. She shifted into cat form and did acrobatics down the steps. Anybody at the foot of the stairs may have found it odd to see a cat doing cartwheels and backflips.
Tad, Saku, Zac and Isaac
"You okay?" Tad asked Taylor.
"Fireworkses! Fireworkses!" Saku beamed, racing outside with Zac. "Can I light one?"
Zac grinned.
"Like I can stop you."
"Yay!"
Saku picked one of the fireworks, put in on the ground, moved a little away and then lit it with one of his fireballs. It went zooming up into the sky and Skau cheered as it exploded.
"Hey, let's go watch the fireworks," Natalie suggested with a smile to Kate and the others.
"Like we can avoid them," Isaac grinned, gesturing to Zac and Saku.
Taylor
"I don't know," Taylor responded to Tad.
"I just... have... vertigo. It's not dangerous or anything, I'm just dizzy."
He shook his head, before he felt it begin to clear.
Orion and Cassie
"Fireworks!" Orion squealed, and he and Cassie ran off to joing Saku in exploding stuff.
Tad, Saku and Zac
"Did you want to give the party a miss after all?" Tad inquired.
Hmm, now that he thought about it, he could sense the use of power in the air. There seemed to be a flow of it headed in Taylor's direction, most likely from one of the guests. One downside of his power was that he could never figure out if power usage was harmful or not - he could only disrupt its use. This particular flow though, seemed to be of the "even if he did disrupt it, it would only start again" variety. He hated that variety. There was way too much of it. If Taylor decided to stay down here, he should try to track down the source and find out what power they had.
Saku took great delight in sending off another rocket, and Zac lit one the conventional way (although he thought that Saku's method might be safer!)
Natalie headed towards the backdoor to watch the fireworks. On the way, she stopped via the food table to pick up a few nibbles.
Cassie
Cassie walked over to Natalie.
"Hello," she said. "I'm Cassiopeia, but you can call me Cassie."
Taylor
"I think it's clearing," Taylor shook his head again.
"I don't know. But I don't think I'd make it back upstairs at this point anyway.
Tad and Saku
"Hmm," was Tad's response.
"Hi," Natalie said. "I'm Natalie. Just call me Nat."
"Kaboomy!" Saku shrieked in delight.
Cassie
"You're cool," Cassie declared to Nat. "I tried to make everybody more quiet, for Uncle Taylor, but I don't think it worked, so I'm gonna go make sure the boys use the pretty purple fireworks along with the super-loud ones," Cassie said. "Shiny colours!" Cass declared, bouncing over to her brother and cousin.
Zac
Natalie shook her head. Funny girl.
Zac took that moment to poke his head htrough the door.
"Hey Nat," he said. "There's a box of fireworks in the kitchen I forgot to grab, do you mind?"
"Umm... where's the kitchen?"
Kate
"I'll show you," Kate offered and let Nat to the kitchen.
"Hey Tay," Kaste said to Taylor who was in the dining room. "Taylor, Natalie, Natalie, Taylor."
Taylor
Taylor looked up as they entered the room, then forced a smile when he realised there was someone he didn't know.
"Hi," he said simply.
Before he caught sight of Natalie...
Tad
"Ah ha!" Tad thought to himself. "She's the one the power flow is coming from!"
"Hi," Natalie said.
Crud. All three Hansons were at the party. She was at a party with Hanson!
Kate
Kate looked at Nat, staring at Taylor, and back to Taylor staring at Nat. She looked back and forth, and then waved her hand in front of Natalie's face.
"Hey, anybody home?" she joked.
Taylor
Taylor immediately turned away, and it was all he could do to keep from blushing.
"Zac left the fireworks in there," he pointed at one of the higher cupboards.
"Basically where Saku wouldn't get to them."
Natalie
"Oh, umm, thanks," Natalie said.
Oh, man, she had been staring! She felt her face go red as she moved over to collect the fireworks.
Kate and Orion
Kate hoped that maybe Nat would be good for Taylor.
"Fireworks!" Orion cried as he ran intothe kitchen to make sure Natalie hadn't forgotten.
Natalie
Natalie giggled.
"Here, you guys can help me carry them out," she said, pulling out the fireworks and disitributing them between herself, Kate and Orion.
Taylor
"I can help," Taylor offered, standing up suddenly almost as if to make it bleedingly obvious how tall he was compared to them.
"There's a lot here. Be careful Orion."
Natalie
"Thanks," Natalie said.
Then she paused. Say... that weird mental turbulance she notice earlier... it was coming from Taylor!
She mentally berated herself for being so star struck she didn't notice. Poor guy. made you wonder what he went through to get that bad. She decided that after they took the fireworks out to Zac she would up her efforts (she was aware that sometimes her power could make people feel a little dizzy, and figured that a dizzy spell while carrying fireworks was not a good idea).
"Okay, that looks like all of them."
Rachel, Cassie and Orion
Orion and Cassie were so hyper- they'd only seen fireworks once before,-- last Independence Day. The babies, however, weren't big fans of the loud noises.
"That's my cue," Rach said, as she heard crying inside the house.
Taylor
Taylor quickly set his lot of fireworks down by the rest before a blast made him jump. Nervously running his fingers through his hair, he eyed off some nearby bottles of kero.
"I think I need to get smashed tonight," he murmured under his breath, before heading back inside.
He gave Natalie a lone smile as he passed.
Zac and Saku
Natalie put down her own load and smiled back.
"Thanks guys," Zac waved.
Saku gleefully threw a fireball at another rocket.
Natalie stood back somewhere to watch the show, but also began increasing her efforts on Taylor's mind. All that mental turbulance... it couldn't be good.
Taylor
Taylor made it back to the dining area before he had to lean on the counter to get his bearings.
What the heck was going on?
He couldn't tell if it was something empathic or telepathic yet, so he did his best to put up an empathic block.
Saku and Tad
"Kabam!" Saku shouted in glee.
Natalie smiled, then frowned slightly. That was odd. Her power was suddenly having problems getting through. She uped it a bit more, knowing that she couldn't really up it any more after that without draining herself too much to enjoy the party.
Tad watched Taylor for a moment, then decided that they needed to find out what this Natalie girl was doing.
Taylor
"Oh God!" Taylor moaned, having to sit down finally.
He was still trying to work out what was going on.
"Someone... someone's using their power on me," he said, more to himself than Tad.
Tad
"Well," said Tad. "The power flow is coming from that Natalie girl. I would have distrupted it earlier, but it's the continuous type - meaning it would stop for a second, then continuing going again. You should ask her yourself."
Taylor
Taylor hesitated, then glanced up at him.
After a moment, he stood, paused for the vertigo to settle, then made his way out the back again to find her.
Finding her by the back door, he subtley came up behind her and took her wrist.
"Come inside for a second," he insisted softly, making sure no one saw what he was doing.
Natalie
Natalie was startled by Taylor's abrupt appearence, but following him inside. She dampened her power a little too - the physical contact telling her that he was getting the dizzy effect.
"What is it?" she asked.
Taylor
Taylor dare not take her up to the bedrooms or anything. Who knew if she was a fan and a full description would be up on the Internet the next day?
He took her into the kitchen where they could be alone (apart from Tad sniffing around, of course).
When they got there, he turned to her and let go of her wrist.
"What are you doing to me?" he frowned, noticing it had subsided a little.
Natalie
Natalie blushed. Obviously he had figured out she had caused the dizziness.
"Ahh, umm, sorry," she said appologetically. "I... well... my power is Empathic Healing. I noticed that there was some mental turbulance earlier, and I thought I might try to help. I didn't mean to make you dizzy - that sometimes happens when it's really bad, or some people are just senstive to it. Or both. I didn't realise it was you until we met. I'm sorry, I didn't mean t intrude, just help."
Then she shut herself up, realising she was babbling. Fantastic. She just embarrassed herself infront of one of the members of one of her favourite bands. Way to go, Nat.
Taylor
Taylor didn't register much beyond her telling him her power.
"I'm sorry, your..." he hesitated, staring at her again.
"Your power is what?"
Natalie
"Uhh, empathic healing," Natalie repeated.
She didn't expect that reaction. But then she supposed she had been babbling so he might have missed her saying it.
Taylor
"Empathic healing..." Taylor said slowly.
He turned away for a moment and frowned.
"I had no idea there was such a thing."
Natalie
"It's a pretty rare power," Natalie explained. "I only know of two others that have it."
She chewed her lip, watching Taylor, and wondering if she had just gotten herself into trouble.
Taylor
Taylor thought for a moment, then turned back to her.
"Where are you from?" he asked curiously, "and have you ever been up to the space station?"
Natalie
"Georgia," Natalie replied. "And I went up once, last year, when they had that big end-of-the-world scare."
She wondered where this was going.
Taylor
"Have you met Tanya?" Taylor asked, his eyes searching hers.
Tanya was going to be in big trouble if the answer was yes.
Natalie
"Tanya?" Natalie questioned. "As in the Telepathic Tempress? No..."
"Weird question," she thought.
Taylor
"Ok..."
Taylor hesitated, then looked around.
"Come with me," he insisted, opting for a more deserted place.
He took her wrist again and took her into the livingroom where he indicated for her to sit down and he sat next to her.
"You can tell there's something wrong with me, right?" he frowned.
Natalie
Natalie sat down, and chewed her bottom lip before answering.
"Well, more or less. I can't get specifics unless you let me, otherwise it's just a sense of mental turbulance. It works best if... if I'm touching you, but, ahh, as you would have noticed I can do it without. Sometimes people get dizzy though."
"You mentioned that before, babbler!"
Taylor
Taylor bit his lip, trying to decide exactly how much he could get away with telling her.
"I know this is probably really weird, considering we only just met. And we haven't even really met properly," his eyebrows rose, "but I'd like you to come with me to meet Tanya. Preferably in the next couple of weeks. Of course you don't have to if you don't want to..."
He added the last part rather quickly.
"But I think you might be able to help us with something."
Natalie
Natalie blinked. Well, this was odd.
"Umm, well, okay," she said. "I'm not really expecting to be in Tulsa for long - just came to visit Kate. But yeah... I... if you think I can help, sure."
"Moron! This is all about your power and his mental turbulance. Of course you can help," She thought to herself.
Although... what did Tanya have to do with anything?
Taylor
"When do you have to be back?" Taylor asked straight away.
"If you have to go back in the next week or so we could always go in the next few days. If you leave in the next few days I could pay for your flights later on..."
Natalie
"About two weeks," Natalie replied. "I'm going back home on the twelth."
That was very generous of him.
Taylor
"Ok... ah... would next week be ok with you? Are you staying with Kate?" Taylor looked hopeful.
"And remember, you can back out at anytime. I'm not out to make you do anything you don't want."
Natalie
Natalie raised her eyebrows.
"I'm staying with Kate, yeah. Next week should be fine. What day?"
Taylor
"What day's fine with you?" Taylor shrugged.
"Tuesday?"
Natalie
Natalie considered for a moment.
"Yeah," she said. "I don't think I have anything planed. Well, I suppose I do now."
Taylor
"Great!" Taylor smiled.
"You have no idea how much this means to me."
He stood from the couch and pulled out his cell phone.
"Can I have your phone bumber? Just in case..."
Natalie
"Uhh, sure," Natalie said.
"Oh my gosh, Taylor Hanson just asked for my number!" Natalie thought to herself as she pulled out her phone. "Don't be silly, girl. It's just business. You're acting like some silly teenybopper."
Natalie looked up her number (yes, she's one of those people who doesn't know their own mobile number) and gave it to him.
Taylor
Taylor put the number in.
"I'll try and call before Monday. I'm sorry, what was your last name?"
Natalie
"Bryant," Natalie replied. "Well, I guess I'll talk to you then... unless you were going to come back out to the fireworks?"
Taylor
Taylor hesitated, then looked out the nearby window.
"I'm not really good with crowds right now," he shrugged awkwardly, "but don't let me hinder your fun."
He extended his hand to help her up after putting his phone away.
"I'm just planning to start drinking," he chuckled.
Natalie
"Ahh," Natalie nodded. "Well, if I don't see you later, Happy New Year."
She started to move back towards the backyard, then paused and looked back at him.
"Did you want me to, ahh, turn the healing off?"
Taylor
"That might be an idea, yeah," Taylor scratched his head.
"Just until we figure out what's going on. But thanks."
And with that, Taylor once again disappeared up to his room.
Isaac
Natalie turned off her power (although his moving out of range kinda helped that) and rejoined the others in the backyard.
"Miss much?" she asked anyone and no one.
"Not unless you count Zac, Saku, Orion and Cassie going bonkers over the fireworks," Isaac replied.
Frankie and Jessica
Frankie smiled at Jess.
"So, Fashion design school, huh?"
"Yep. Iz and I are sharing an apartment."
"Do you want to design the costumes for my movie?" Frankie asked. "I mean you and Isabel, of course," he added, looking nervously at the ground. He hated that Jess was moving to LA, as soon as he moved to Tulsa. She was the whole reason he's decided to move there in the first place!
"I don't know. You have a house in LA, right?"
"Well, I've just settled in here, but since I'm doing a movie, I'll be back and forth between here and there."
"Well, I'm sure we'll both love to do it."
"The whole group can work together," Frankie said excitedly. "The triplets are writing the score, I'm asking Zac to work on the credits music, Rachel's doing the stunts, and a bunch of our friends are acting in the movie."
"Will you come hang out with me and Iz in LA?"
"Sure. I'll show you around."
"I've been there before, but cool."
Saku and Natalie
Saku threw another fireball at a rocket.
"Whoo hoo! That was the best one yet!" he exulted.
"How many times has he said that?" Natalie joked to Kate.
Kate
"At least 27," Kate said. "I stopped counting a while ago. Oooh!" Kate said, spotting something on the snack table. "Chocolate mousse, let's grab some before it's all gone."
Natalie and Isaac
Natalie giggled and hurried over with Kate to raid the snack table (and the chocolate mousse).
A few hours later, Isaac started the countdown...
"10... 9... 8..."
Everyone joined in.
"7... 6... 5..."
