When Rogue was abducted, the first thing that she did was give them a fake name. Clearly the scientists didn't actually care what her name was because "Rogue" stuck. It wasn't long before she met Gambit, a man who had done the exact same thing from the exact same fandom. This was not the only thing the two had in common and the pair soon came together as husband and wife, and had four children before their rescue from the labs.
Rogue is of the belief that the scientists recognised where she took her name from and that is why some of the DNA alterations they applied to her make her look a little like her namesake.
Rogue always loved cats, and is currently raising kittens, in additon to children.
