Rainbow Valley LlamasTop 10 Chart SinglesMovies with Travis
The Rainbow Valley Llamas has undertaken a real beating in its line up this winter what with both retiring players and new ones.

Isaac Chancellor, Bill Corsillo and Zeeshan Harris retired this season. All three have been assests to the team, and will be missed by teammates and fans alike.

The Llamas would also like to welcome Lavic Chancellor, Xar Davenport and Karia McCarthy to the team.

Although Isaac Chancellor has opted to retire from the game, he will continue to manage the team until his successor is ready to take over. In the meantime, plans for a new uniform are in the works.

The Axe
Rated: M

Eight sims, trapped in a house that mysteriously looses its doors, and a killer on the loose. Typical, predictable "slasher flick", although does build up the tension well. Poor script, excellent direction. Stars local actors Gratte Rossi and Oliver Piero.

I Love Pizza
Rated: PG

Jasmine Ternynck plays alongside veteran actor Phil Todd in this family friendly movie about true love and pizza. An odd combination I'm sure, but it works quite well and you end up with this feel good movie with a surprising twist.

Mayor RetiresSomething New? Something Blue!
Mayor Marie Corsillo announced her retirement this week, handing the reigns over to her deputy, Ralyn Patch.

"Naturally a formal election will be held as soon as all the preparations can be made," said Ralyn. "I wouldn't dream of assuming the title of Mayor unless the good residents of Rainbow Valley voted to trust me with that position."

Rainbow Valley's first mayor was Rogue D'Beau, who ran with the slogan "When there's only one candiate, there's only one choice". Her daughter, Marie Corsillo, adopted the same slogan. When asked if she would use the familiar catch phrase, Ralyn laughed.

"I think I would rather have to come up with a new one because I have some competition," Ralyn said. "Rainbow Valley started with twenty-five residents and no real need for competition in her elections. But our population is now over 200 and we have a need to fine tune and expand our governing body."

The election will be held later this spring.

A new local teen band, Something Blue, has surprised not only Rainbow Valley, but also SimNation with the release of their debut album "Blue Fire Burns Hottest" featuring their hit single "Looking In".

Stephaisa Chancellor on bass, Sibren Davenport on guitar, Arle Mazza on drums and Mandia Smith on Piano

Despite their youth and early success, Arle Mazza, Manda Smith, Stephaisa Chancellor and Sibren Davenport take their music very seriously.

"We all write our own music," Stephaisa tells the Chronicle. "Some things we write together, and others we write on our own. Arle's particularily prolific."

"Music is in my soul," Arle says. "In fact, Mum often claims that I was singing songs even before she taught me my first nursary rhyme."

"We decided to call ourselves 'Something Blue' because all us girls have blue DNA. Which is really funny, because Sibren has pink DNA," Mandia explains with a laugh.

"Blue is my favourite colour though, so it works out," Sibren adds.

Something Blue will be promoting their new album at Walker Music Centre this Saturday at 2pm.
