Ralph Davenport Sues
Anna D'Beau's Debut
Welcome to Rainbow Valley
Anna D'Beau's Debut, an internet blog which details the every day going-ons in Rainbow Valley, was sued by Ralph Davenport claiming that one of the entries caused the break up of his marriage.

Anna Wilson (who writes under her maiden name D'Beau), maintains a hidden camera at the Ten Pin Cafe. The camera is set to take a photo a few seconds after the photobooth triggers certain motion sensors.

"You have to be doing some pretty strenuous activity in there in order to rock the photobooth enough for the sensors to go off," Anna explained. "Until now, everyone who has gotten their photo taken admits that they were woohooing. In fact, there's a large - and growing - number of residents who take great pride in getting their photo taken."

Ralph Davenport had his own photo taken with Melissa Reid exiting the photobooth. A third party technition inspected the setup and verified that the camera could not take a photo until after those motion sensors had been tripped.

"There are signs in the Ten Pin Cafe, and on and in the photobooth in question that there is a hidden camera," said Asia Davenport, Anna's counsel. "If my brother-in-law didn't want to risk getting his photo taken with Mrs Reid, then he should have chosen elsewhere to do his business."

Ralph claims that he and Melissa were only getting a photo taken as friends. He also claims that Anna's insinuation that he was the father of Melissa's following pregnancy also contributed to the break up of his marriage to Vyn Davenport.

"But... the twins are your children," pointed out Travis Reid, Melissa's husband. "You don't even need a DNA test to prove that. Looking is sufficient."

Melissa Reid declined to comment.

The lawsuit was thrown out by an outside judge. (All resident judges were deemed too close to either party to decide a neutral verdict). She declared that Ralph had ample warning about the hidden camera, and that the subsequence marriage breakup that occured when Vyn read the report and saw the photo was brought on by his own actions.

Welcome to another issue of the Rainbow Valley Chronicle.

This week we've had a few firsts. We've had our first controversary, our first divorce and our first elders.

That's right, there are actually some residents out there who have chosen not to extend their lives with zuchini "elixier of life" juice, and to age gracefully instead.

Heloise Creelman, one of our first journalists, and writer of the Word on Rainbow Valley coloumn has retired. We thank you, Heloise, for your years of faithful reporting, and will miss your words.

The Rainbow Valley Chronicle now has three new writers, Leo Mazza, Larvic Chancellor and Karut Ternynck. Welcome to the team, boys! Still on aboard are myself, Daria Ternynck, Anna D'Beau/Wilson and Travis Reid.

The Rainbow Valley Garden Club membership has been increasing, and they've started the "Wishing Well Awards". Winners get their very own Wishing Well. See Page 5 for more details.

See Page 2 for a fascinating story about Roguette D'Beau, a woman who had an unfortunate, but reversable transformation involving bug spray. An article that ends with some well placed advice for all us would-be gardeners, this is not one to miss.
