Abduction!Welcome to Rainbow Valley
When we first spoke of alien abductions way back in issue 1, Vic Chancellor was only joking. Who would have thought that you could really be abducted by aliens?

Laura Chancellor was the first person in Rainbow Valley to be abducted by the not-so-little green men.

"I was just looking for new constellations one night. The next thing I know, I'm being sucked off my telescope by a starnge blue light. The aliens, who were green with big black eyes, and not really little at all, did experiments on me. That was a rather unnerving experience, but totally worth it to have finally contacted aliens. Sort of. I mean, they didn't really speak to me, but I spoke to them and I got to hang out in their UFO. It was awesome. I want to do it again!" Laura tells the Chronicle very, very excitedly.

Laura wasn't the only one to be abducted by aliens this week. Vyn Reid, Daria Ternynck, Knut Ternynck, D'nut Ternynck, Tonina Walker, Lasanna Wilson, N'hol Wilson, Katril Todd, Tysha Rossi, Kittan Rossi and Rocky Rossi were also abducted.

Teens, D'nut, Tonina, Lasanna, N'hol, Katril, Tysha and Kittan won scholarships as a result.

Rocky's experience was more frightening than most.

"I got home and everything seemed fine," said Rocky. "Then I had this strange growth. I thought it might be related to all the elixier of life I've been drinking, so I went straight to Nicholas Wilson. It wasn't the zuchini juice though."

"I couldn't believe the test results when I saw them," Nicholas admits. "I even brought in Dr Amy Davenport for her opinion."

"There was no doubt about it," Amy confirmed. "Rocky was pregnant. With an alien baby."

Rocky's Abduction

"I don't know how the aliens did it, but they did," said Nicholas. "And we had the living, healthy proof of it three days after Rocky's abduction."

"Worst. Day. Ever," said Rocky. "Men are not supposed to get pregnant! I don't know how you women deal with it, but at least you're designed to bear children. I wasn't! And as if one kid wasn't enough, I had to go and have twins. Twins!."

The only visible sign of Asteroid and Meteor's alien parentage is their green skin (a differrent shade from the Todd's). Given Rainbow Valley's colourful DNA, they should have no problems fitting in.

Rocky was the only adult male abducted by aliens, and the only one to fall pregnant. Which brings up a number of interesting questions like why didn't the adult women get pregnant? Are male aliens the ones who bear the children or was it just coincidence that Rocky was the one who got pregnant? And for that matter, why did they impregnate Rocky in the first place?

Only further abductions can tell. Rainbow Valley residents are urged caution when using their telescopes.

Welcome to another issue of the Rainbow Valley Chronicle.

Aliens! Who would have thought they really existed? And yet, here they are, going on an abduction rampage in our very own neighbourhood. Will it continue into the future? Will more of us end up alien-pregnant?

The Coming of Age ceremony took a bizarre twist as one of our teens chose a rather unsual Life Choice. Read more about that and the new changes to the ceremony on page 2.

Sims who are born toddlers and then transition to adult within a week? See page 2 for this astonishing story.

Enthusiasim for the Photobooth Club seems to have exploded with an extraordinary amount of photos this week. See page 3.

Witchcraft! Meet Rainbow Valley's resident witch on page 4.

We welcome two new journalists to the Chronicle, Felicia D'Beau and D'nut Ternynck.

And as a final note, I would like to annouce my retirement from the Rainbow Valley Chronicle. It was a tough decision to make: I was the one who started her and I'm reluctant to let her go. Your new Editor in Chief, Lavic Chancellor, will probably have to take my computer away from me in the end. But I know she'll be in good hands, and I know that she'll continue to serve our community and keep us together long after I'm gone.

It's been a pleasure writing for you.
