Chatting about best friends

A discussion on friends arouses Annette's curiousity when George mentions being friends with some of the of Fortunate Springs residents - when they were teens too! Yet... he is not older than young adult?
"Have you been drinking the EoL?"
"No..."
"Then why aren't you older?"
"Umm... I don't know. Never thought about it before..." George is genuinely puzzled by the questions.

Annette questions Reed

You've really been best friends with my parents for years? You met in Uni? But... why are you still here?

Annette questions Zaitrarrio

"And you were wreaking havoc on the Greek Houses since the Uni opened?"
"Heck yes! It's a blast!"
"But... why are you still only a sophomore?"
"Umm, I don't know."
"Did you keep getting on academic probation?"
"Never been on academic probation in my life!"
"Did the Uni allow you a break because you're a mascott?"
"I don't know."
"Were you really a young adult or a teen when you started this job?"
"A young adult."
"Have you been drinking Elixir of Life?"
"No."
"Why don't you know any answers to my questions!"
"Hey, cut me some slack. I was able to answer some of them." Zaitrarrio then proceeds to mutter unfavourably about knowledge sims.

Annette thinks about things

I don't understand how any of this is possible... So many people who live in Fortunate Springs, but have no known address, and who live for years and years without aging. People who were friends with Good Luck, Big and Fair Chance, are still alive today, even though Good, Big and Fair are not (and they did use EoL). Yet, no one can explain why this is. Not even Zeeshan has any ideas of how it is that he's been alive so long without aging and any known address, and he's my love and fellow knowledge sim!

Annette researches

Annette feels that it is up to her to find out, and begins to research the phenomenon. She starts taking nots on her observations on what she likes to call "The Townie Phenomenon".

Zaitrarrio puts out a fire he didn't even start

A fire broke out in the kitchen, and Zaitrarrio, having been at Greek House that had fires before many, many times, skillfully puts it out.

Walls! Furniture! Spa!

The bonus money from the semester goes towards improving their home. Jennifer Luck even donates her spa for the cause.

Meanwhile, Annette decided to interview some of the previous 'Townies' of Fortunate Springs. She disguises her interview with Sophie as a desire to update her look.

But all is not about Annette's desire to understand 'Townies'. Anita's feelings for Reed has moved from crush to love - and the feeling is mutual!

Zaitrarrio and Sydney

Zaitrarrio takes Sydney out for dinner, and surprises her with a much desired engagement. Sydney accepts with joy. Soon the two complete their sophomore year.
