Nicole and I moved into a new place together, just across the road from Mum and Dad.

Nicole took a job as a Theorist and I took a job as a Medical Researcher. Nicole was hoping to get her career as a criminal started, but there just weren't any positions vacant. I was soon promoted to Chief of Staff though.

Nicole lists the reason why they shouldn't have children yet

Worse, Nicole laid down the law. She doesn't want to have children yet! Really, I could cry. I want nothing more than to have a baby of my own flesh and blood in my arms... that isn't one of my siblings. I want a son, or a daughter. Preferably both. Lots of them. I'm thinking at least ten. *sigh* But Nicole doesn't want any! She wants to be a Criminal Mastermind, and an actual house. "Look at this place," she said. "It's a dump! Seriously, do you really want our children growing up in this squallor?"

*sigh* I suppose she has a point...

Uncle Derek give Jean-Luc some advice

I was telling Uncle Derek about it, when he came out with something rather surprising:
"Well, you've been abducted by aliens before, right?"
"Ugh, don't remind me."
"Well then, there is a way you could have a child without Nicole's say so."
"Adopt?"
"No! Okay, you could do that too, but that's not what I was going to say. Look, if find yourself a dance sphere..."

The dance sphere

You won't believe what he told me. And even though I hated my experience with the aliens... I really wanted children. So one night I went downtown and took a ride in the dance sphere. Just like Uncle Derek said I would, I disappeared, and lost a couple of hours of my life.

Do you really think Nicole will approve of you spending that much on clothes?

When I got back, I was so excited by the prospect, although, to be honest, other than being a little dizzy, I didn't really feel all that much different. Still, I decided to celebrate by buying some new clothes for my future children.

Extensions

Then I got a $80,000 bonus when a mistake was found in a new proceedure before it was put to use. We immediately used it to fix our place up. It's not a dump any more, is it Nicole? Heh!

Reeves Toys

We also used the rest of the money, and the bonus Nicole got with her promotion to Mad Scientist to start a new business: Reeves Toys. We worked hard, and it was soon up to level 5.

New jobs

Nicole got a new job as a Smuggler, and I got a new job as a Dinosaur cloner. I haven't been showing any signs of pregnancy though... If it weren't for the fact that I did lose time when I went into the dance sphere, I'd wonder if Uncle Derek knew what he was talking about... Although in hindsight, I guess B'Elanna, Mia and Brainiac were all born because of dance sphere abductions. Maybe the aliens don't want me to have children yet either... *sigh*

The cow plant

Anyway, my new job came with my very own cow plant. Knowing the voracious appitite of the cow plant, I decided to keep the door to its habitat locked at all times, and I'm the only one with a key. Don't want to loose any family or friends to it!

Then the day she had been waiting for her entire life had arrives: Nicole made her lifetime want of becoming a Criminal Mastermind! I was so happy for her.

You mean it?

Best of all, Nicole said that she wants to start having children now! I was so excited! And, well, heh, we immediately got to work... heh heh heh. Soon, success was evident. Unlike that alien baby... I don't know whether to be happy or disapointed that didn't work.
