"The Death and Life of Dude Cormier"

What a way to start the week
I came home from work one day to see something I never thought I'd live to see. My son, Dude's urn sitting on the carpet. How could this happen? How could my son be taken away from me like this? Parents should never outlive their children! Never! I decided right then, that I would do everything in my power to bring him back. But how? How was I, an elder, supposed to bring back my son? I had to find a way.
Oh, go away... I have more important things to do
After some careful planning, and flipping through my little black book, heh heh, I took one of my old girlfriends, Arcadia Hogan out on a date. To my annoyance, one of my other old girlfriends saw us and accused me of cheating. It didn't seem to bother Arcadia though... but then, she is a romance sim as well, so I expect that she understood.
Just how does this fit into your plan to ressurect Dude?
Other than that little incident, the night went perfectly. And I did something I never thought I'd ever do: I proposed. And Arcadia accepted.
Two words: New wardrobe
Back at home, I asked Arcadia to move in with me. She grew up from a young adult into a fine looking adult, although the dress she found herself in wasn't quite her style.
Barely an adult for two seconds...
We married on the spot. Before either of us could change our minds. Heh.
THIS is your idea of something more suitable? Are you TRYING to give your husband a heart attack?
Soon, Arcadia was off. Buying new clothes (red leather... what a heart stopper!), and getting a job as a hypnotist. And if I know her, probably meeting other men. Heh heh. Well, perhaps marriage was a bad idea... just moving her in would have accomplished the same job... Oh well, too late now.

Anyway, Arcadia went to her first day of work, and I retired as celebrity chef.

The moment of truth
To my delight, Arcadia came back with a promotion to medium, and brought with her a Resurrect-O-Nomitron. I had scrimpted and saved for this moment:
Welcome back Dude!
I rang up the Grim Reaper and paid $10,000. There was a puff of green smoke and voila! There was Dude, jumping for joy!
Dude, Ricky and Arcadia
I hugged him, and then introduced him to his step mother. Dude was good enough to ignore the fact that she was young enough to be his older sister (although... I met her when I was in Uni... weird).
Arcadia's surprise
Well, I never thought I'd marry, but bringing back Dude was worth it. Still, I could do without any more surprises.
