"Big's Last Chance"

Fair and Grant talking
Grant came home after graduating University. And I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw he and Fair actually talking. Could Fair have actually mellowed? She didn't want anything to do with him when he was born...
Taking after the old man
Grant's been bring all these girls home lately. And he still manages to keep a job as a restauranter. Still...
Big rants to Grant
I had to tell him something I know he didn't want to hear: "Grant, I know you're not interested in being a father, but I would like some grandchildren from you before I die."
Naturally he pointed out that Lill and Tina breed like rabbits - what do I need grandchildren from him for? Because he's my only son, that's why.
We argued for a while, but only time would tell what the final result was.
Meet Tara Anderson
What I didn't expect him to do, however, was propose to the first woman to walk by the house. Tara Anderson, also one of Grant's girlfriends, accepted without a second thought. Then Grant married her on the spot (probably to keep him from chickening out later).
A new floor
To allow Grant and Tara easier access to the nursary, Fair and I gave them our room, while we built a new floor and moved up there. Not long therafter, Tara announced her pregnancy. Hurrah!
Typical
A pregnant wife wasn't enough to settle Grant - he was still running after the women. Hmm, well, I hope Tara doesn't find out. She might leave and I won't get to see my grandchild.

Grant was promoted to Celebrity Chef.

What do you mean, you're having twins? (Tara with Enid, Grant with Dean)
I nearly cackled with delight when Tara went into labour and gave birth to twins, Dean and Enid. Though, I don't think Grant was too please... but twins do run in the family, after all. We had to expand the nursary to accomodate that, but that's all to the good.
Four adults in the house, and Tara's the only one who spends any time looking after the twins. Not even Grandpa
The best thing about grandchildren, me thinks, is that I don't have to do any work. Heh. I can play with them all I want, and then as soon as there's a problem, I can just hand 'em back to Tara.
Farewell, Big
And so the last of my days came to an end. The Grim Reaper arrived in all his glory, girls' and all, and I took my glass and my suitcase and left everyone behind.
Poor Fair
