Fair makes a new 'friend', Toby
Well, our family felt the need to buy a second car. I would have prefered something better than a pickup, but what else can you do? (Hmm, pickup... has an amusing ring to it). Anyway Fair decide to take it downtown with someone she was THAT close to being friends with - we needed one more to get the next promotion.
Big dating Ericka
And later I decided to take it out to 'reinforce current friendships'. Or that's what I told Fair anyway. I really went on a date with the lovely Ericka. Unfortunately, Ivy (whom I also dated previously) caught us. And then when I tried to make amends with Ivy after our date was over, Ericka got upset (I thought she left!) It was very messy and I ended up losing two friends. I had to work hard to get new friends to replace them so we could get the promotion, and while the girls were furious with me, they weren't being all that amenable.
The new piano
Oddly, Ericka dropped a piano by after our date, even though she was still angry with me. In any case, I told Fair that Ericka just had this old piano she didn't want any more and thought we might appreciate it. Fair seemed to buy it. What a relief!
Fair makes her lifetime want
One of Fair's friends at work, Toby, was able to pull some strings for her and get her a promotion. Must be that irresistable charm of hers. In anycase, this mean permanant platinum for Fair for the rest of her life. Hopefully I could attain the same.
Big and Grant
Me and my son Grant became best friends. He needs his father. His sisters are more interested in boys and earning scholarships at the moment, and well, Fair doesn't like to socialise with Grant very much.
Lill and Ricky
Lill's been hanging around with this Ricky kid. I don't think I like him around my daughter. There's no point in trying to dissuade Lill from seeing him though - when I was her age the forbidden was even better.
Grant is a child
I've rather disappointed in myself. I missed my boy's birthday! I was working on regaining old friendship *ahem*, and he grew up, no one around to watch. Oh well, I'm sure I have plenty of time to mold him into my image.
Fair makes the moves on Payton while Big earns his promotion at work
At last! At long last, I finally did it! I became a professional party guest! My lifelong dream! It's all so very exciting.More renovations on the upstairs - it's liveable now if not complete.
Big and Ricky fight
Lill's still been seeing that kid, Ricky. Well, Ricky and I had a little... argument. I had to throw that kid out of there. He's the kind of guy that's all so charming, and leads poor innocent girls astray. Well, he's not going to do that to my Lill!
Big gets a new job
I decided that as everyone in the family could cook better than me - even Grant - I should improve my cooking ability. Besides, I had become rather facinated by the idea of becoming a celebrity chef. So I took a new job as a Fast Food Shift manager, and after my first day was promoted to Host.Fair also decided to get a new job, and went into politics as a campaign worker.
Lill and Ricky go steady
Lill and Tina have both been working very hard on their scholarships - and they both have managed to earn $9000 each! I'm so proud. They should be able to totally cruise through collage with that kinda cash.
Fair with teleprompter
On my second day of work, I got a promotion to Waiter. I love being permanent platinum. Fair also got a promotion to City Council member and got a telepromter. Pretty cool, aye?Back to Fortunate Springs Main Page
