Natalie had been walking through to the kitchen with Viggo as she heard the doorbell ring. Changing direction, she went to answer the door.
She didn't think they were expecting Isaac or Zac so early on a Friday, but you never really knew with those boys...
"Oh. Hello?" she was taken by surprise to find a postal worker.
"Good morning ma'am. A parcel delivery for an Avery Hanson, care of Jordan Hanson?"
"Yes, sure. I'm his wife," Natalie nodded.
"Great, could you sign here?"
Natalie pondered if Avery actually had sent some of her sketches back like Taylor had mentioned he'd told her to, as she awkwardly signed the clipboard the young man held out.
"Thanks. All yours."
He stepped back to reveal a suitcase, guitar case and carry bag all stacked neatly by the door.
Natalie frowned as she looked them over, then turned back inside.
"TAYLOR?!"
It was a while before he appeared, and she'd managed to move the bags inside after setting Viggo on the living room floor.
"What's all this?" he looked confused.
"Avery's?" Natalie shrugged as she closed the door.
"...Without Avery?"
"Apparently so," Natalie rubbed her chin as Taylor stepped forward and picked up the guitar case.
It was definitely hers.
He hesitated, then called out telepathically, "AVIE?"
Waiting for a moment while Natalie moved the bags into the corner of the living room, he gulped a little when there was no response.
"Something's wrong," he shook his head, "I can't reach her telepathically."
"Has that ever happened before?" Natalie frowned.
"Not since she started Ga'Revali training. I'd better call Dad. And Tanya. And... Ike and Zac."
He left the room and Natalie tended to Viggo once again.
