"If you don't want to do this, I can just get it all sorted." Angel looked over at Faith, who was sitting beside him in the car, her eyes staring straight ahead, unblinking.
"No," Faith cleared her throat. "The least I can do after all he... I have to do this."
The vampire nodded and got out of the car, heading around to her side and opening the door for her. She stared at his proffered hand before taking it, lifting herself gracefully out of her seat. He closed the door behind her and kept his hand around hers. He noticed that she was shaking, faintly.

Angel led Faith up the stairs and through the front doors, and she held onto him tightly, certain if she let go, she would just collapse. Losing Giles had been...
"Hey," Gunn came to meet them, and gestured to his office. "It's all ready, Faith are you sure - "
"Yeah," she cut him off. "Let's just get this over with."
The three of them went into the office and the executors of the Will started to read Giles final wishes.

Faith blinked, feeling like she was in a dream. She didn't remember the car trip back to her apartment, somehow she just ended up, sitting at the window, staring down at the city below.
Giles.
Even after all of this time, it seemed he was still watching over her. Still taking care of her.
He had left her everything in his Will.
