He Knew It

Written by AiMsTeR

Taylor & Natalie

Taylor was rocking Viggo in his arms as he sang along to the tune in his head, readying his next bottle.

Viggo's head followed the bottle, knowing it was time for food. He burped a little, and then cooed slightly.

Taylor took a moment to register the sound, then paused.

"Nat?!" he called.

It was a while before he could hear her footsteps, followed by River's.

"Tay?"

"Here," he handed Viggo to her, "I'm working on a theory."

Natalie gave him a puzzled look.

"Okay... and your theory involves me feeding him?"

"Exactly," Taylor checked his watch enthusiastically.

Natalie couldn't hide her confusion, but decided to go along with it. She took a seat and settled into the usual routine, as Taylor took River's hand and kept his eye on his watch.

After a couple of minutes, he grabbed a towel and put it over her shoulder.

"What, you think he's going to throw?" Natalie asked, barely seconds before that's exactly what he did.

"Oh no!" she pulled a face, holding the bottle out to Taylor.

"YES!" Taylor pumped his fist, River automatically getting excited too.

"Tay?!" Nat frowned, still holding the bottle out.

"Sorry, sorry," he quickly apologised, setting the bottle aside and then taking Viggo from her.

The towel had caught most of the vomit, but there were some drips on the floor she needed to clean up. Her clothes however had been saved.

"How did you...?" she quizzed when she realised what had happened.

"He told me!" the excitement was evident on Taylor's face, "he knew he was going to do it!"

"So this means..."

"Viggo has premonitions," Taylor beamed, "that sure throws a new ingredient into the pot, right?"

"Well," Natalie shrugged, "at least we seem to be passing on the rare ones now."

Taylor just grinned, patting Viggo's back.
