Avery lay on her stomach on the bed, supporting her head with her left hand, facing Matt, who was lightly trailing his fingers across her hip.
"How's everyone up there?" she asked. "Lo and I took a trip to Laguna the other week."
"Yeah, everyone's good," Matt replied, leaning in to peck her lips softly. "Dan and I both miss having you and Lo around all the time though."
"I don't know if Lo will move back up," Avery replied honestly. "She's doing really well in LA."
Matt nodded. "I thought as much. And you?"
"Maybe?" Avery shrugged. "I hadn't ever really given it much thought, I'm not even sure what I'm going to do after school."
Matt kissed the top of her head. "I mean, I can always live downside, I'm not pressuring, I'm just asking."
She smiled up at him, and then sat up, leaning over to kiss him. "You're pretty cute, you know."
"I know," he chuckled. "I kinda love you, Aves."
"I kinda love you too."
