Edward lifted Faith's bag with his free hand, his other arm around her waist, supporting her weight.
"Carlisle is bringing the car around," he told her.
"Ok," Faith nodded. "Thanks for this, by the way."
"You're aware of what is happening."
"Yes," she replied. "The end is coming. Hellmouths are opening all over the place and I am the only one who can stop them. I need to rally the troops, what little of them I have left. And these new vamps... they're gonna be loving it."
Edward nodded. "Jasper is ready to do what he has to."
