"Mom," Priestly sat in the seat beside Faith's bed. "You wanna share something with the class?"
"Not really," Faith said, looking over at her son. "How was filming? Aren't you meant to be doing... Disney stuff?"
"Took the morning off and don't change the subject," he warned. "You were sick, you had dangerous surgeries and you didn't think to give me a call?"
Faith shrugged. "Didn't want to worry you, Zeph. You had a lot going on. How is Vanessa, by the way? When do we get to meet her?"
Priestly sighed. "This discussion isn't over, you know."
"Sure it isn't."
