Priestly shyly took Vanessa's hand as they walked along the park together, the moon lighting the way for them.
"So, it's almost over," he said quietly.
"Yeah," she replied, glancing up at him. "Back to LA."
They were silent for another few minutes.
"Hey, Nessa?" Priestly glanced at her.
"Mmm?"
"I um... I have to tell you something, but please don't freak out, ok?"
"Ok..." Vanessa looked nervous.
"But first..." Priestly leaned in and just as their lips touched, Vanessa lost control of her powers and orbed out for a second.
She reappeared a few metres away from him.
"What the hell?!"
Vanessa smiled sheepishly. "Guess I have something to tell you too."
