"Are you sure you don't want anyone here with you?" Meredith asked, glancing at Derek as he closed the door behind him.
"I'm sure," Faith nodded. "Just... hit me with it."
Derek nodded and stepped forward. "It's a stage four melenoma, which means..."
"Skin cancer," Faith said, glancing at them. "But... you don't look relieved."
Meredith stepped forward. "It's a stage four, which means... it's spread."
"Oh..."
"We're going to be as aggressive as we can with treatment," Derek told her. "There are options. This isn't the end of the road."
