Settling Down

Written by Nessa and AiMsTeR

Angel, Priestly and Faith

Angel scrolled through his phonebook for Sam's number, after trying to unsuccessfully catch a hold of Faith for the tenth time. He only hoped Sam was better at answering his phone.

He listened to it ring patiently.

"It makes the most sense, right?" Priestly asked, walking back from getting dinner with Faith.

Faith nodded. "Realistically, yeah. I mean, once you finish up in Utah, you're going to want to pursue acting full time, right?"

"Yeah, well, if I like it," he replied.

"Exactly," she said. "So Hollywood seems like th place for you to settle. Angel's been checking out places in the area, somewhere close enough to Wolfram and Hart if you need him, but far enough away so you can be independent."

"You think I'm ready to live alone?" he fidgetted awkwardly.

"Sure," she shrugged. "We'll try and swing by as often as we can, and we're only ever a phonecall away. Besides, you'll meet the other kids while filming, and I suspect they'll all live close by."

Sam & Dean

Sam accepted the call and put the phone to his ear.

"Angel, hey."

Dean looked up curiously.

Angel, Faith and Priestly

"Sam," Angel greeted. "I've been trying to get a hold of Faith, but no luck, it seems."

~*~*~*~

"You might have to arm wrestle Dean for the pie," Faith warned him.

"No way, I went with you to get it, I should get it!" Priestly protested.

Sam & Dean

"Her phone must be off," Sam shrugged, looking across at the beds, "either way it's here, and not with her. She and Priestly went to get food, they shouldn't be long."

"God I hope not," Dean rubbed his stomach, standing up and going to fetch Faith's phone and turn it on.

Angel, Faith and Priestly

"Well, it involves you too," Angel told him. "I've found Priestly a place in LA."

Faith threw the motel room door open, and tossed a bag at Dean.

"I got dibs on the pie," Priestly announced.

Dean & Sam

"Too late," Dean hit back, pulling the pie out first and opening it up.

"That's great!" Sam smiled a little, "and thankyou. Thanks alot. They just walked in, so who do you want to tell first?"

Angel, Faith and Priestly

"Uh, I guess Priestly, seeing as it's going to be his place," Angel shrugged. "No problem, also."

"Told you," Faith said, grinning at Priestly. "You'll have to wrestle for it."

"No way," Priestly said, advancing on Dean and the pie. "I called it."

Dean & Sam

"Hey," Dean put his other hand up, "you went to get food. If you wanted one, you should have gotten two. Not my perogative."

"Priestly! Phone!" Sam held it up.

Priestly, Angel and Faith

"Stupid jerk," Priestly muttered, going to take the phone from Sam. "Hello?"

"Priestly, it's Angel," the vampire greeted.

"Oh, hey Angel," he shot his parents a look.

Faith glanced at Sam, before handing him a bag of food. "Not an emergency, I hope?"

Dean & Sam

"Stupid bitch."

Sam shook his head at Faith and winked, before pulling out a burger and watching to see Prietly's reaction.

Angel, Priestly and Faith

"So," Angel continued. "I've found you a place in LA."

Priestly's face lit up. "Really?! When, where, how... thank you!"

Faith raised an eyebrow.

Sam & Dean

Sam grinnd, and Dean looked up with a full mouth.

"Angel found him a place," Sam explained to Faith.

Faith, Priestly and Angel

"Ohh," Faith nodded. "Awesomesauce."

"When can I come see it?" Priestly was practically bouncing on the spot.

Angel chuckled. "As soon as you want. Put your Mom on and I can work it out with her."

"Wicked, thanks!" Priestly held the phone out to Faith.

"Hey Cookiepants," Faith grinned, taking the phone.

"No," Angel sighed.

"No to the cookie or no to the pants?" she asked.

"Just no."

Priestly beamed at Sam. "So I can go. Live in LA, I mean?"

Sam & Dean

"It makes sense," Sam assured.

"Especially if you're..."

He cut himself off before he said something in front of Dean.

"If you're going to go to school. And stuff."

"School in LA? You know what they'll do to the kid, right?" Dean raised an eyebrow.

Priestly and Faith

"I'm not gay," Priestly sighed.

Faith snorted, and returned to her conversation with Angel.

"Probably in the next few days?"

Dean & Sam

"Not what I meant," Dean corrected, "you're gonna be surrounded by rich kids and pussies."

"I'm pretty sure by now that he can handle himself," Sam defended.

"Sure. Like you could," Dean scorned.

Priestly

"I'll be fine," Priestly insisted.

"I'll be at... at school mostly anyway."

Dean & Sam

"Yeah, cos that's so much safer."

"Dean," Sam sighed.

"Whatever. I'm gonna take a walk."

Dean grabbed his pie and beer and promptly walked out.

Sam just shook his head and returned his attention to Faith's conversation.

Priestly and Faith

"Maybe we should just tell him the truth," Priestly said to Sam. "I don't want this to turn into a fight."

"Sweet as," Faith said, hanging up the phone.

Sam

"Trust me," Sam cringed, "if he finds out you'll be in the public eye, it'll be a lot worse."

Faith and Priestly

"Ok," Faith said, turning to Sam and Priestly. "We can head out there in a few days to see the place. Angel's finalising everything today and he's going to organise a cleaner to go over the place."

Priestly nodded. "Sounds good."

Sam

"Yeah," Sam nodded.

He reached over and messed Priestly's hair.

"Congrats."

Priestly

"Thanks," Priestly beamed.
