Priestly looked up at Sam, his fingers tapping nervously on his knee.
"Dean still doesn't know, right?" he confirmed.
Sam
"Promise," Sam assured.
"You would have heard about it by now, believe me."
Priestly, Vanessa and Faith
Priestly was distracted for a second, smiling shyly back at Vanessa as she walked past.
Faith glanced at her, then at Priestly.
"Ok," Priestly nodded, blushing slightly. "As long as he doesn't know."
Sam
"Don't worry, we're good," Sam insisted.
He watched a few of the other kids who'd been called back, wondering who was up against his son.
Vanessa, Priestly and Faith
"Vanessa Anne Hudgens?" the woman called.
Vanessa stood up, and as she passed Priestly, she smiled. "Good luck."
"You too," Priestly replied, somewhat shyly.
Faith hid her smile.
Sam
Sam watched the exchange, before sitting in the empty seat beside Priestly.
He checked his watch.
"You'd think for such a big production they'd be running on time," he sighed.
Priestly and Faith
"You guys can go if you have things to do," Priestly offered, still blushing from his exchange with Vanessa.
Faith looked at Sam.
Sam
"Pri... I mean, Zac, it's not as if we have nine to five jobs. You're not getting rid of us that easy," Sam insisted.
Priestly and Faith
"I just don't want to take up too much of your time," Priestly said, shaking his head.
"We want to be here for you," Faith told him.
Sam
"Yeah," Sam shrugged.
"And if it makes you feel better, we have absolutely nothing better to do."
Priestly and Faith
"Zac Efron?"
Priestly stood up.
"Good luck, Zeph," Faith said, giving him a smile.
Sam
"Yeah, good luck," Sam patted his shoulder awkwardly.
"Show them what you got."
Priestly and Faith
Priestly just nodded at his parents and went into the room.
Faith looked at Sam. "What do you reckon?"
Sam
Sam put his hands on his hips.
"Somehow I don't think he'll have a problem," Sam smiled warmly.
Faith
"Yeah, they'll be won over by the good looks he got from you," Faith teased.
She nudged him gently.
Sam
"If you've got any ideas of me auditioning, give them up right now," Sam smirked, before putting his arm around her and kissing her.
Faith and Priestly
"Here I was thinking we could star in a Disney movie together," Faith teased.
She kissed him back, just as Priestly came back over.
"Gross guys, tone down the PDA."
Sam
Sam chuckled smugly.
"I take it by the sparkly eyes that it's good news?"
Priestly, Vanessa and Faith
"They want me back in two days for a pairs audition," Priestly grinned.
"Hey, see you on Wednesday, Zac," Vanessa said, as she passed him.
"See you," Priestly replied, blushing faintly.
Faith grinned slightly. "That's good news, right?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
Sam
"If this keeps progressing we might have to find you somewhere to stay in the city," Sam looked between them.
Faith and Priestly
"I'm sure Angel could organise something," Faith said.
Priestly shrugged. "If I get it, we'll be filming in Utah."
Sam
"I doubt that matters," Sam shrugged, leading the way out.
"So what should we celebrate with this time?"
Faith and Priestly
"Hmm, not ice cream," Faith mused, slipping her hand into Sam's. "Burgers?"
Priestly chuckled. "We can just go back to the motel."
Sam
"Haven't you learnt yet?" Sam teased.
"You get no say in this whatsoever. Burgers sound great, so burers it is."
Faith and Priestly
"Come on, let us do the proud parent thing," Faith grinned.
Priestly sighed slightly.
"Anything for you, Mom."
Sam
Sam rolled his eyes good naturedly, before leading the way out.
