Priestly tapped absently on his thigh, his knee bouncing up and down with nervous energy.
"Zeph?" Faith put her hand over his to stop the tapping. "You ok?"
"Yeah," he breathed, voice a little shakey. "Just... nervous, I guess."
Sam
"You'll be fine," Sam insisted, looking down at them from where he stood over.
"Besides, it's not like this is the only one you can go for."
Priestly and Faith
"I know," Priestly nodded. "But it's the first."
"First times are always the most difficult," Faith managed to say with a straight face. "You'll be alright."
Meanwhile, across the room, Priestly locked eyes with a petite looking girl with dark hair and dark eyes.
Sam
"Yeah, exactly," Sam agreed, voice a slightly higher pitch and giving away his own nerves.
Faith and Priestly
Faith glanced up at Sam and wondered about the odds of both her boys fainting.
"Zachary Efron?" the casting assistant stuck her head out into the hallway, where they were sitting.
Priestly stood up, and cleared his throat nervously, before looking to his parents for some last minute encouragement.
"You'll be amazing," Faith nodded.
Sam
"Go get 'em tiger," Sam winked supportively.
Faith and Priestly
Faith waited until Priestly had gone through the doors before she turned to Sam, raising an amused eyebrow.
"Tiger?"
Sam
Sam's eyebrows rose and he shrugged.
"I didn't know what to say!"
Faith, Priestly and Vanessa
Faith just chuckled, and busied herself by flicking through a magazine.
Sometime later, Priestly walked back out the doors, a wide smile across his face.
"Did you get a callback too?" Vanessa asked him.
He nodded. "Yeah, for the 9th."
"Me too," she grinned. "Guess I'll see you then."
Priestly blushed as she walked away, and he continued on to his parents.
Sam
"That looks encouraging," Sam gave Faith a nudge before standing up to greet him.
"How did you go?" he asked nervously.
Priestly and Faith
"I got a callback," Priestly said, grinning in excitement. "Back here on the 9th June."
"Awesomesauce, Zeph!" Faith gave her son a hug. "Ok, so what do normal people do to celebrate?"
Sam
"Ah... icecream?" Sam suggested.
Priestly and Faith
"It's ok," Priestly chuckled.
"Nope," Faith shook her head. "Ice cream it is, kiddo."
Sam
"Your mother has spoken," Sam played along.
"Come on, there's a great place on Bleaker Street I saw a while back."
Priestly and Faith
"Weirdest parents ever," Priestly said, shaking his head as he followed Faith and Sam.
