Priestly had just stepped into the diner to pick up dinner for everyone when he was accosted by a petite woman in her mid 30's. She pressed a business card into his hand.
"You're gorgeous," she said, nodding. "I'm from the Creative Artists Agency and I think you should come in and sign up with us. We specialise in all aspects of entertainment, modelling, acting, singing, dancing. So here's my card, my name is Madeline Palasota. Think about it, ok?"
Priestly just smiled and nodded politely, before slipping the card into his pocket, barely looking at it. He walked up to the counter to place his order, and while he waited, he started to think about what she had said.
Acting, singing, dancing.
He took the bags of food he was given, handing over the right amount of money, before heading back to the motel, a few things floating around his mind.
