"How's it going?" Eron asked.
Friday looked up and gave a lop-sided shrug.
"All this detail work is slow going."
Eron sat down beside her while she went back to concentrating on her Phrydai costume.
"Surely Julie didn't put this much detail on her original drawings?" he asked.
"Nope, but she only needed enought detail for a cartoony 2D character," Friday replied. "This is going to be live."
Eron chuckled.
"Fair enough. It already looks great although..."
"Although what?"
"Well, don't you think it's just a little risky?"
"As you said, Julie designed it," Friday grinned. "Although, unlike some game designers at least she doesn't have women wearing plate mail that doesn't cover their bellies."
"This doesn't cover your belly."
"It's not mail, plate or otherwise, either."
"True."
Friday looked up at him again, this time curious.
"A little uncomfortable with the idea?"
Eron shrugged.
"Well, y'know, I think you look really sexy in it, I just... I guess I'm more used to y'know, more conservative dress."
Friday smiled and kissed him softly.
"If you really don't want me to, I'll change it," she said. "But it's only for a weekend."
"No, it's fine. I think I might have to avoid the convention is all. I'm not entirely certain what paladins are supposed to do in the presence of those who ogle their wives."
Friday giggled.
