"Uh, this is Davis," the man on the phone said, sounding awkward. "I was Tru's supervisor. Well, she didn't really need... I worked with her."
Faith sat down on the edge of the bed, tucking her hair behind her ears. "Oh... what can I do for you, Davis?"
"Uh nothing, nothing," he stammered. "I was just ringing to extend my condolences to you. Tru was... she was very special."
Faith smiled slightly. "You noticed that too, huh?"
Davis coughed. "I did."
