Turning His Back

Written by Nessa

Ty

Ty let out an angry shout, and threw his phone against the mirror, shattering the glass into millions of tiny shards.

"Little f-ker!" he yelled.

He breathed heavily, balling his hands into fists, fuming over the latest Priestly news. He never should've allowed Priestly to engage in conversation with Sam. He should've been in the room at all times. Ever since the kid had found out that Faith and Sam were his parents, he'd been on edge, passive aggressive in all of his actions and remarks.

And now... his last chance to redeem himself had been to go and look his mother in the eyes and kill her. Knowing that he would be killing the woman who gave birth to him. That would've been poetic. And yet, Priestly had managed to completely screw that up.

Ty yelled again, needing to get his anger and frustration out of his system. He'd never been so betrayed in his entire life. Priestly had failed, brainwashed with the notion of family... but wasn't Ty his family too? Hadn't he risked life and limb, getting that kid away from Faith and Sam? Hadn't he raised him – albeit, from a distance – but he had been there! He had been the one to train the kid in combat, teaching him about his own enemies, keeping him out of danger. And this was how he was repaid.

"Well, good riddance, kid," Ty sneered. "Enjoy your life. It won't last long."
