Meeting Up Again

Written by AiMsTeR and Nessa

Dean & Sam

Dean looked up from where he leant against the hood of the impala as the smaller sedan pulled into the parking lot.

"He's here," he informed Faith, without moving.

Sam spotted the impala and parked a few spaces over.

Faith

Faith looked up from the ground, and a small smile appeared on her face as she saw Sam's giant silhoutte outlined in the dim streetlight.

Sam & Dean

"Hey," Sam nodded in greeting as he shut the door and walked over.

"Hey," Dean returned the nod, "have fun?"

"That's one word for it," Sam went to Faith's side and slipped an arm around her shoulders before kissing her forehead.

Faith

Faith gently slid an arm around Sam's waist.

"Hey Jumbo," she said. "What's news?"

Sam & Dean

"What's news... is that I met our son," Sam revealed.

"And told him the fact."

"He didn't know?" Dean cut in.

"Nope," Sam shook his head, "he believed Ty was his father."

"Ty..." Dean frowned, "where do I know that name from?"

Faith

"That little bastard," Faith fumed.

"The band kid."

Dean & Sam

Dean looked confused a moment longer.

"Oh... right," he finally nodded, "the guy that just 'happened' to be everywhere we went for a while. I knew there as something up with him."

He shook his head.

"Why would he want us dead?"

"I don't know," Sam shrugged, "we didn't get that far."

Faith

"How was..." Faith hesitated, unsure of why she was concerned for Priestly.

"How did he take it? I'm guessing he knows we're both his parents?"

Sam

"He was... unhappy about it," Sam shifted slightly as he leant back against the car.

"I didn't see his confrontation with Ty, but I heard parts of it. Ty's the one who told him, really. I told him you were his mother - because I thought he already knew - then Ty told him I was his father. Then he came back to me and demanded to know if it was the truth. After that... I didn't talk to him again. He left the room in a bit of a state. But when I escaped, he saw me leave and he didn't do anything to stop me."

"You think he'll stop coming after us?" Dean asked.

"I don't know," Sam shrugged, "but I can wager that Ty has invested too much in him to stop so suddenly."

Faith

Faith nodded slowly, processing the information.

"I think... if I can get him alone, I could talk to him."

Sam & Dean

Sam looked down at her worriedly.

"If the pattern stays true, you're next anyway," Dean shrugged.

Faith

Faith patted Sam's arm gently.

"If I can get him without Ty," she said. "He couldn't do it before. Ty did. So, if he was alone... with the knowledge he has... I think maybe I could talk to him."

She paused.

"And if that doesn't work, it'll take a huge thing to kill me."

Sam & Dean

"They used drugs on me this time," Sam informed her.

"And had me locked in a room in an abandoned warehouse somewhere. If they do the same to you, you should be able to free yourself like I did. Maybe you can get him alone."

"Depends what they do," Dean shrugged, "I got the fridge, remember?"

Faith

Faith thought for a second.

"Ty's too proud... he's going to want to see how the kid's abilities stand up against mine. How strong the kid is, compared to me. After all, he got his strength from me," she thought out loud. "He'll want him to do it in cold blood again. Because he couldn't last time. As punishment, maybe?"

Dean & Sam

"We're not mind readers," Dean scorned.

"If he couldn't do it last time, there's nothing to say he will now," Sam shrugged, "even if Ty pushes him. Especially now that he knows who we are."

"But who's taking chances?" Dean shrugged.

Faith

"So we dangle me as bait," Faith shrugged.

"If things don't do well, you guys charge in and save the day."

Dean & Sam

"Did they leave your cell phone on?" Dean asked Sam.

"Yeah," Sam frowned, "why?"

"Maybe we could get a GPS tracker in your phone," Dean suggested to Faith, "then we won't have to worry if this mutant teleports you or something."

"That could work," Sam agreed.

Faith

Faith nodded.

"Drop me in the lions den, I'm game."

Dean & Sam

"We'll work it out tomorrow then," Dean insisted, standing up and going to the driver's door.

"Let's go."

Sam patted Faith's shoulder and stood to open the passenger door for her.

Faith

Faith slid into the car and waited for the boys.
