Tru picked up her phone, barely looking at the caller ID before putting it to her ear.
"Hello?"
"Tru, I just need to talk to you," George said.
"Go away," she replied. "I have nothing to say to you."
"Good, because I have a few things to say to you," he told her.
"Sorry, let me rephrase that. There is nothing you can say that I want to hear. How's that?" she asked.
"You're just like your mother, extremely stubborn," George sighed.
"If you want to insult me, you'll have to try harder," Tru snapped. "I love my Mom, and she was completely right about you."
