"New digs," Faith observed, looking around at the renovated, spacious apartment that Angel had just signed the contracts for.
"New digs," the vampire nodded. "You like?"
"Nice views," she replied, walking over to the window. She looked down at the city below.
"It'll be my place and act as headquarters for AI," Angel replied. "There's two spare rooms too, for you and Sera."
Faith glanced at him. "You miss her?"
"She'll be back soon," he shrugged. "I'm glad she was away for the fight. I couldn't focus if she was there too."
"She's your girl," she said. "I never used to be able to focus completely if Tru or Lia..."
She fell silent, letting out a wistful sigh.
"You miss them." It was a statement, not a question.
"Every day," Faith replied. "I know I have Zeph and everything, but... I mean... they were my girls."
"They were."
They stood in silence for a moment, before Faith cleared her throat.
"So... do I get to decorate my room?"
Angel smiled. "I suppose so."
