"I need it."
"Sam," Ruby sighed as she made her way to the bed, "this is getting a little tedious. You should be getting your strength up on your own at some point."
"Yeah, well I haven't had much of a chance yet, ok?"
"And yet you have time to sneak around with me. That doesn't say much for your relationship with Faith now, does it?"
"Leave her out of it," Sam said in a warning tone that Ruby had gotten used to every time she brought her up now.
"Well. It's true. She's getting in the way whether you want to admit it or not. She's got your full undivided attention and with all her little escapades it makes it a bit hard to do full on demon-kill training."
"Ruby..."
"I'm not starting a fight. Your life is your life. But if we don't take out Lilith? All I'm saying is it's not me who isn't putting in," she insisted.
"I'm not debating that," Sam insisted.
"Well good," Ruby nodded.
She took a deep breath, waited as Sam seated himself on the edge of the bed, and put herself into his lap. Presenting her dagger, she pulled it down her arm once again and let Sam drink. His eyes shifting between green and black.
