Faith brushed out her hair out of her eyes, walking over to the window to communicate with Sam across the street.
"Shower's free," she said absently to Dean.
Dean & Sam
"Score," Dean nodded, heading for the bathroom.
Sam had been waiting at his window, his eye on some of their neighbours as they rushed to finish their yard duties for the night.
When he caught sight of her he waved.
Faith
Faith waved back, sitting down on the window ledge. She made a motion for 'seen anything?' and then sat back to wait for his answer.
Sam
Sam indicated down towards Faith's left neighbour, busy sweeping their driveway. He tapped his wrist when she was watching again and counted 'five' off on his fingers to say they'd been there since 5pm.
Faith
Faith gave him a thumbs up and then pointed at her eye, then put her hand over her heart, and then pointed at him.
She grinned.
Sam & Dean
Sam grinned and signed the same.
Some time later as they carried on their muted conversation, Dean emerged from the bathroom in only his towel. Seeing the golden opportunity, he started acting up behind Faith, miming rocking out as he moved past the window and out of Sam's line of sight.
Sam's face meanwhile plastered a confused look.
Faith
Faith noticed Sam's expression and turned to look at Dean, who was miming like a fool into his own fist. She grinned and pulled the towel frm around his hips, wound it up and slapped him on the ass with it.
Sam & Dean
Sam pulled out his cell phone and called Faith.
"Ow!" Dean exclaimed, jumping around the other side of the bed, "you suck!"
Faith
Faith laughed and threw the towel back at Dean. She grabbed her phone as it started ringing.
"Hey," she said, still chuckling.
Sam & Dean
"Guys that's not funny," Sam insisted over the phone, still looking through the window, "settle down!"
Dean quickly grabbed the towel and tied it around himself again before any of their other neighbours saw.
Faith
"Sorry, couldn't resist," Faith said to both Dean and Sam.
She looked back out the window at Sam.
Dean & Sam
"I'm going for food," Dean announced, heading down to the kitchen still in his towel.
"How's it going?" Sam asked tiredly.
Faith
"Nothing unusual to report so far," Faith told him.
"Apart from... is Dean always that gassy?"
Sam
"Did he eat Mexican?" Sam mused.
"Anyway those neighbours of yours seem pretty worried about something. Try and keep your eye on them, ok?"
Faith
"We're having breakfast with them tomorrow morning," Faith told him.
"We'll try and suss out what's the go. How are you and Angel going?"
Sam
"We..." Sam looked back at Angel, "haven't been invited. I'm not sure that people around here warm so much to... non-conformist coupling."
Faith and Angel
"Which of you is being big spoon?" Faith grinned.
Angel glanced up as Sam started talking about their cover.
Sam
"Shut up," Sam rolled his eyes, before giving her a stern look through the window.
"What do you think you'll find out tomorrow?"
Faith
"Not sure," Faith replied, bringing her legs up against her chest to moisturise them.
"We're going to pry about the last couple that lived in our house. Try and find out why everything has to be by the book."
Sam
"Good idea," Sam nodded.
"Try and hint at what might happen if the rules aren't followed or something."
Faith
"Yeah, will do," Faith said, glancing across the street at Sam's window.
"How are you guys holding up? Bonding like the best friends you are?"
Sam
"We're fine," Sam insisted, a little snidely.
"But we don't have as much of a view from this place as we'd like. And something is screwing with the video transmissions every now and then. I'm not all that sure it's paranormal though. There isn't really enough EMF around."
Faith
"Not much to see on this side anyway," Faith told him.
"We haven't found anything unusual, and Dean hogs the bed and is incapable of putting the toilet seat down."
Dean & Sam
"Get in this here kitchen and make me some dinner, woman!" came Dean's voice suddenly.
"I heard that," Sam grunted, "and I heard the subtext. You weren't supposed to share a bed."
Faith
"Make your own dinner," Faith yelled back to Dean. "No Mexican. I am not putting up with your stinky ass all night."
She glanced across the street.
"I know, but there was only one bed packed in the house stuff. And he wouldn't sleep on the floor."
Dean & Sam
"WOMAN!"
"Send him to the couch or just kick him out," Sam shrugged.
Faith
Faith ignored Dean.
"He's being stubborn," she replied. "It's ok. We keep to our own sides, though he spreads out a bit when he thinks I'm asleep."
Sam & Dean
"Of course he does," Sam sighed.
"BITCH!"
Faith
"Hold on a sec," Faith said, then covered the mouthpiece of her phone.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?!"
Dean & Sam
"FOOD DAMN IT!"
Sam turned to Angel.
"You can hear them from here, right? It's not just me?"
Angel and Faith
"Happy couple is heading for a divorce court," Angel commented.
"OH FOR... I'M NOT YOUR SLAVE!" Faith yelled.
Sam & Dean
"Or whatever fate these Stepfords have in store for misfits," Sam pointed out.
"BUT YOU'RE MY BITCH, CLOSE ENOUGH!"
Angel and Faith
"Maybe it was a bad idea to put them together," Angel said, wincing as a loud stream of profanities were heard from across the street.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
Dean & Sam
"GOOD. IT'LL PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY!"
"Well at least we might get a rise out of these people?" Sam shrugged.
Angel and Faith
Angel raised his eyebrows as a loud crash was heard from across the street. "If they don't kill each other first."
"I CAN'T BELIEVE I MARRIED YOU, YOU SELFISH SON OF A BITCH!"
Sam & Dean
"Oooh," Sam cringed at the profanities, before returning his gaze to the window.
He grabbed his phone.
"Faith! DUCK!" he warned.
"THEN GET A FRICKEN DIVORCE, YOU LAZY COW!"
Faith and Angel
Without turning around, Faith reached behind her and caught the mug easily. She dodged to the side and the other one smashed through the window.
Angel came over behind Sam, peering out at the street.
"That might create some attention."
"I WOULD, IF YOU EVER LET ME OUT OF THE HOUSE YOU F-ING CONTROL FREAK!"
Dean & Sam
"WE'VE BEEN HERE ONE F---ING DAY!"
"I guess I don't have to worry about them sharing a bed tonight," Sam's eyebrows rose.
Faith and Angel
"I hate you, you lifesucking douchebag," Faith said, then went over towards the bed.
Angel chuckled. "Guess not."
Dean
Dean finally came back into the bedroom, stuffing his face with toast.
"Think we made an impression on the neighbors?" he said through his food.
Faith
Faith grinned, and patted the mattress next to her.
"We're newlyweds," she shrugged. "Passionate sex, passionate arguments."
Sam & Dean
"FAITH!" Sam yelled into the phone, "don't make me come over there!"
Dean grinned.
"Awesome. Should find something to board the window with though."
There was a knock at the door.
"Neighbor alert!" Sam chirped into the phone.
Faith
"I'll call you back," Faith told Sam.
"Dean... maybe we should both go to the door. Assure them that were fine."
Dean & Sam
"Yeah ok," Dean nodded, "just don't pull my towel."
Sam got out his binoculars and kept eyes on the front door.
Faith
"Best behaviour."
Faith wrapped her arm around Dean's waist as they went to answer the front door, trying to look every inch like the loving couple.
Sam & Dean
Sam gulped as the door opened.
"Hey there," Dean greeted.
"Is everything alright here?" the woman looked stunned.
"Everything's fine. We're fine. She's just a little wildcat in the bedroom sometimes," Dean winked.
Faith
Faith faked embarrassment. "Sometimes we get a little carried away."
She reached over to kiss Dean on the cheek.
"This one is a fan of the roleplay. Hope we didn't wake you."
"Oh no," the woman assured. "We were just worried when we heard the crashes. Uh... is there anyway you can get the window fixed before bed?"
Dean
"You're kidding, right?" Dean forced a smile.
"Bedtime is like, now. We have bigger things to worry about. Excuse us."
He made to close the door.
Faith
"No!" the neighbour said, a little too forcefully. "You have to clean the yard now. It's just that... you... it's unsightly."
Faith raised her eyebrows.
Dean
"Seriously? This is ridiculous," Dean insisted.
"It's our yard. And I'd like you to leave before we have to book you for trespassing."
Faith
"N-no," the neighbour insisted again. "We'll help you. It just has to be done."
Faith glanced over her shoulder towards the house Sam and Angel were in.
"You know what? It's ok, we'll ask the Wesson's to help us out."
Dean & Sam
"We will?" Dean's eyebrows rose.
"They need help," Sam stood, "wait here and keep watch."
He headed downstairs and out across the road.
"Hey, everything ok Mr and Mrs Petrie?"
Faith
"Sorry if we woke you, Hamish," Faith said to Sam. "We just have a bit of a messy lawn issue, as you can probably see."
Sam & Dean
"Yeah I heard," Sam frowned, "need help cleaning it up?"
"Excuse me while I get some underwear on," Dean nodded before disappearing.
Faith
"If it's not too much trouble," Faith said, smiling at Sam.
The neighbour looked between them, with a slightly suspicious look on her face.
"I'll leave you to it, then," she said.
"Sure, thanks for the warning, Mrs Schroeder," Faith told her.
Sam
"Goodnight," Sam nodded to the woman, before turning back to Faith.
"What on Earth happened here?"
Faith
"Oh, you know," Faith said, watching as the neighbour headed out of earshot. "Little argument."
She nodded, satisfied the woman was back home.
"Hi."
Sam
"Hi," Sam smiled, careful not to get too close.
"I take it the neighbours weren't fond of the redecorating."
Faith
"She was freaking out," Faith said, stepping back to let Sam into the house.
"Like in a barely contained state of panic."
Sam
Sam didn't move.
"Maybe we should at least pretend to clean it up," Sam suggested.
"We could leave a few scraps here and there. See if anything happens."
Faith
"Alright," Faith said.
"But I need to put some clothes on."
She gestured at her towel.
Sam & Dean
"You go do that," Sam nodded.
"I'll start here."
"I'll help," Dean saluted as he came outside again.
Faith
"I'll be out in a minute."
Faith nodded to the boys, and then headed into the house to change.
