Tru raced back into the kitchen, cursing heavily. She pulled out her cell phone and dialled in Sam's number, tapping her foot impatiently.
She rubbed her face, trying to work out when Faith had slipped out.
Sam
Sam stepped out of the room and closed the door, still needing to block his other ear to hear the phone.
"Hello?" he frowned.
Tru
"Oh thank God," Tru sighed.
"Bad news."
Sam
"Tru. This really isn't a good time," Sam pinched the bridge of his nose, Lindsay's screams still evident in the background.
Tru
"Well, sorry to interrupt or whatever, but Mom's missing."
Tru let that news sink in for a moment.
"She disappeared either last night or early this morning, from what I can tell."
Sam
"What?!" Sam exclaimed, pausing to take a few deep breaths.
"It's ok, we know where she's going. We'll just have to break her out, or whatever."
Tru
"I'm sorry," Tru replied.
"I didn't hear her leave."
Sam
"Like I said, we'll get her back," Sam shrugged.
"Thanks for trying anyway."
Tru
"It's ok."
Tru fidgeted.
"Well, I'll let you go."
Sam
"I'll call you when we've got her back," Sam assured, turning back to the door as he heard something mechanical start up.
Tru
"Ok. Thanks."
Tru paused.
"Hurry, please."
