Babysitting Mom

Written by AiMsTeR and Nessa

Dean & Sam

Dean pulled up out front of Tru's and got out to stretch his legs.

"Wow that was a long ride."

"You should have let me drive halfway," Sam scorned, "instead of a quarter."

He hung up his phone, having just called Tru to let her know they were there.

Faith and Tru

Faith got out of the car, silent and upset.

Tru opened the doors and came down the stairs, holding her keys and her cell phone.

"Hey," she greeted.

Sam & Dean

"Hey Tru," Sam smiled in greeting.

"We're not staying," Dean insisted, partly to Sam, "just take care of her, alright?"

Tru and Faith

"Ok," Tru nodded. "And she doesn't remember anything?"

Faith glared at Sam, folding her arms across her chest.

Dean & Sam

"No she doesn't," Dean shook hs head.

"We've tried to fill her in, but you know your Mom," Sam glanced at her before looking back, "she's stubborn."

Tru and Faith

"Yeah, noticed that awhile back," Tru said, grinning slightly. "Mom - uh, Faith?"

Faith turned to look at her.

"It's November," she said, rather coolly.

"O...k. Well, I'm Tru," her daughter replied. "You're gonna stay with me for a bit, is that ok?"

"I don't think I have a choice," Faith snarked.

Dean & Sam

"Want chains?" Dean offered seriously, indicating the trunk.

"She's tried to bail a few times," Sam warned, "she wants to go back to where they wiped her memory."

Tru and Faith

"It's ok," Tru said, waving her hand. "Mom and Angel actually gave us some when we first moved in, in case something broke in."

She paused.

"At least, I hope that's why, but with Mom, you can never really tell."

Faith was pointedly not looking at any of them, mind ticking over as to when she could make her escape.

Sam

"Ok well, she's all yours," Sam shrugged.

Tru and Faith

"I'll call you and update you later," Tru offered, reaching out for Faith's hand.

Faith shook her head.

Dean & Sam

"Let's go hunt this ass down before he finds us," Dean said determinedly, getting back into the car.

Sam waited until Faith moved from the car before getting in himself.

"Are you sure we should leave her?" he asked Dean.

"We can't have her making a run for it halfway through a bloody interrogation," Dean reasoned, before pulling the car out and heading down the street.
