"And he wasn't going to let me leave," Echo was saying, as Boyd helped her out of the van. He kept a hold of her hand and walked her over to the elevator. "Maybe I should apologise. Will you stay here, so after my treatment, I can go back and explain properly?"
"I'll be here," Boyd told her.
"Thanks," Echo replied, stepping into the elevator beside the other woman.

"So, she'll be wiped?" Lindsey asked, climbing out of the van moments after Echo had disappeared.
"Yes," Boyd replied, somewhat curtly. He had not appreciated Lindsey interfering when it came to Echo.
"Good, good," Lindsey went on.
"So will you be swapping them again?" Boyd asked, annoyed at himself for his own curiousity. But he was concerned about the effect of seeing her twin would have on Echo.
"Not yet," Lindsey told him. "Faith... uh, November, will remain here for awhile. She signed on for it, after all."
"So I'm told."

"Hello," Topher greeted. "Are you ready for your treatment?"
Echo smiled and sat down on the chair, leaning back as it reclined.
"This may pinch a little."
Moments later, Echo sat up, and she blinked a few times, before looking over at Topher. "Did I fall asleep?"
"For a little while," Topher replied.
"Shall I go now?"
"If you like."
