Echo stepped out of the bathroom, drying her hair off with her towel. She glanced around and noticed Dean was gone.
"Just you and me?" she asked Sam.
Sam
"Afraid so," Sam replied, nose buried in the newspaper as he looked for leads.
"Dean will be pulling the electric anytime now."
Echo
"Hmm."
Echo tossed the towel back into the bathroom, and wandered out into the room.
"Maybe I'll patrol or something."
Sam
"I thought you were gonna wait until you were a hundred percent again?" Sam lowered the paper with a frown.
Echo
Echo looked confused for a second.
"I feel fine."
Sam
"You're obviously not, you've been acting weird for days," Sam pointed out.
"Almost like you're hiding something. But after what happened with those flu symptoms, I'd be staying in a while longer if I were you just to make sure it's passed."
Echo
"Well, you're not me," Echo replied curtly.
"I'm fine."
Sam
"Fine, go ahead then," Sam replied in the same tone, going back to his paper.
Echo
Echo rolled her eyes slightly, and went to Faith's bag, pulling out a few weapons.
"Whatever," she said, before leaving the motel. "See you tomorrow."
Sam
"Tomorrow?" Sam raised an eyebrow, but she was gone.
He sighed, then got back to his reading feeling suddenly awkward.
Echo
Echo glanced over at Boyd as he approached.
"You ok?" he asked.
"All going to plan," she replied, then walked away from her Handler.
