"It's time," Lindsey told his brother, grinning faintly. "She had an unfortunate run in with a carrier of Heritage."
"Heritage?" Ty repeated. "Oh, that little project you've been helping out with."
"Not so little," Lindsey replied sharply. "Once it spreads, the Slayers will drop like flies."
"Yeah, well," Ty said, shrugging it off. "I'm only really interested in the one, and she's almost out of the way?"
"It will take some months," Lindsey answered. "Heritage spreads faster in those with little experience, so I imagine it will be a longer and more painful time for Faith."
Ty grinned, finally a little more animated. "That's great news, bro."
"In the meantime," the older brother continued. "Echo should serve as a flawless replacement for her. I have made arrangements with DeWitt, and as long as we can get Faith in for her imprint, I don't see it being a problem."
"Except the obvious one," Ty scoffed. "We can't exactly just kidnap the girl. She's constantly with those idiots."
"Little brother, sometimes you are exceptionally stupid," Lindsey told him. "Your powers?"
Ty smirked. "Guess I'm just the man for the job then. Tell DeWitt I'm bringing her in. Tomorrow."
"See you then, kid," Lindsey said, hanging up.
Ty leaned back in his car, watching the trio through the motel window. "Yeah. Soon."
