Faith's eyes were focused on her laptop while her breakfast was going cold on the plate in front of her. She absently took a sip of her coffee, not really paying attention to the noise from the diner.
Her finger trailed across the touchpad, and she frowned, thoughtful, while she read.
Dean & Sam
"So I said to her 'hey, it aint my problem you can't put out on a Saturday', and she gave me this look that was like-"
"Hey," Sam nodded to Faith as he spotted her, ignoring Dean as he went to sit beside her.
Dean shrugged and slid in across from them.
"Something interesting?" he asked boredly.
Faith
"Maybe," Faith said, as she finished reading. She looked at Sam.
"Something weird is going on at Stanford, apparently. Tru just sent me this email."
Sam & Dean
Sam squinted at the computer as Dean put in their orders.
"Sounds like it might be a Tulpa," Sam's eyebrows rose.
Faith
Faith took another sip of her coffee, leaning back in the booth seat.
"Well, I'm all for a trip to see my daughter," she said, then grinned cheekily. "Oh and Chantelle attends Stanford too."
Dean & Sam
"What?" Dean's eyebrows rose as the waitress walked away.
Sam chuckled.
"So it's on. We'll hit the road when we're done here."
Faith
Faith grinned and leaned against Sam.
"Oh... I can't wait."
Sam & Dean
"I bet," Sam chuckled.
"I am so not going," Dean slapped his hand on the table.
"Dean, if it is a Tulpa, then Tru needs us. We don't know, she could be next. And you know what they're like," Sam insisted.
"Yeah, and they're the figment of everyone's imagination. So just tell everyone he's something else."
"Yeah, like that worked last time."
Faith
Faith nodded. "Yeah, we're not putting Tru at stake here. If she gets hurt, I... will also be hurt."
She cut a triangle into her pancakes.
"Besides, Dean... college girls."
Dean
Dean perked up instantly.
"Well you could have mentioned that sooner," he smiled a little, sitting back as the waitress brought he and Sam coffee.
Faith
"Plus," Faith added. "Summer in California. So... scantily clad college girls."
She nodded.
Dean & Sam
"Mmm..." Dean closed his eyes with a smile.
"Now you've done it," Sam snapped his fingers in front of Dean's eyes until he opened them again.
"What?" Dean asked innocently.
"You're so predictable," Sam chuckled, sipping his coffee.
Faith
"Ooh," Faith said, thinking out loud. "I can crack out the shorts again."
She glanced at Sam.
"Or should I not provoke Dean and keep myself covered at all times?"
Sam & Dean
"I vote the latter," Sam insisted.
"And I vote the former," Dean grinned, reaching for his mug.
Faith
Faith grinned.
"Favourite Winchester might win if the weather is warm enough."
Sam
"Favorite Winchester?" Sam's eyebrows rose.
Faith
"Dean," Faith said, nodding.
"He always gives me food. So he became the favourite."
Dean & Sam
Dean smirked happily.
"You're kidding, right?" Sam insisted.
"For one, I'm the one that did all the midnight food runs while
you were pregnant. And two, I'm the one who gives you sex."
Faith
Faith grinned.
"And I appreciate that, Sam."
Sam & Dean
"Do you?" Sam kept up.
"Maybe she just appreciated mine more when she was getting it,"
Dean smirked.
"You stay out of it," Sam point at him.
Faith
"I appreciated yours in a different way, Dean," Faith said,
shaking her head.
"You both... well, you probably don't want to know. Anyway!"
Dean & Sam
"We both what?" the boys asked in unison.
"No I take it back, don't want to know," Sam shook his head,
taking another sip of coffee.
Faith
"You both have different techniques," Faith said, shrugging.
"Both good though."
Dean & Sam
"I have a few diffrent techniques," Dean shrugged.
"Right, that'll do," Sam insisted, "so we're good to go today?"
"Dont see why not," Dean nodded.
Faith
Faith hid her grin.
"Awesomesauce."
