Faith walked into the motel room, handing Dean a bag of food, and handing Sam the other two.
She sat down on the bed and kicked her shoes off, then glanced across at Sam.
"Sam? You're so perfect, you know? With your amazing eyes that are so deep and expressive."
Dean & Sam
Dean instantly looked across at her with contempt.
"Why thankyou Faith. See, this is why I understand your morals and values so well. You're so perfect for me," Sam played along.
Faith
"You make me feel so beautiful, Sam. When you look into my eyes, it's like... like I'm drowning."
Faith rolled over to face Sam.
Sam & Dean
"I know, I feel it too. I love you so much that it hurts."
"I'm ignoring you. You know that, right?" Dean picked up the paper.
Faith
"Sam, I think we need to do something romantic," Faith said, nodding decisively.
"We need to watch the sunset. That's so romantic."
Sam & Dean
"Didn't I tell you? I organised to surprise you one day by showing up out of the blue and taking you on a long nature walk so we could watch the sunset," Sam played along.
Dean frowned, wondering where that one had come from.
Faith
Faith put her hand to her forehead and flopped back on the bed in a mock swoon.
"Oh this is why I am smitten. Absolutely smitten with you."
Sam & Dean
"Oh Faith, I forgot to ask - do you se glitter in your hair? It sparkles so pwetty in the moonlight..."
"What the hell?!" Dean sat up finally, "where is this coming from?! Did she update again or something?"
"Wow. Man, that took like..." Sam checked his watch, "fifteen minutes to figure out."
Faith
Faith laughed, and pointed in the direction of the laptop.
"Yep. It's the best entry yet."
Dean
Dean grumbled under his breath as he got off the bed, going over to the laptop and opening the journal window.
He read it over, and dropped his head onto the desk.
Faith
"It's ok, Dean," Faith said, still grinning.
"Tru's not going to give your position away. She's not that mean."
Sam & Dean
Sam reached over and patted his brother's back.
"Maybe that's what I need to do to get rid of her. Face her," Dean looked up at the desk.
Faith
"Or she'll take it as a proposal," Faith said, glancing over at him.
"I mean, how did you let her down before?"
Dean
"I just told her I travel a lot, and I'm not the kind of person that 'sees' people," Dean shrugged.
"Maybe I need to just tell her straight out, f--- off."
Faith
"Yeah," Faith said dryly. "She obviously didn't get the hint the first time."
She grinned again.
"So glad I am not crazy like that."
Sam & Dean
"Ditto," both boys said in unison.
"As in, I'm glad you're not," Dean corrected.
Faith
"You wouldn't want me stalking you?" Faith said, grinning up at the brothers.
"All pining and whingey?"
Dean & Sam
"No," both boys said again.
Sam glanced at Dean awkwardly.
"The stalking part I wouldn't mind, let's be honest, but the whinging part? No," Dean insisted.
Faith
Faith grinned.
"I'd be the fun kind of stalker. The one that tied you up and did indescribable things to you."
Dean & Sam
"I feel better already," Dean smirked.
"Yep. Too bad she's mine, huh?" Sam patted his back again as he walked past on his way to the kitchen.
Dean's smiled vanished in an instant.
"Spoilsport."
Faith
"I feel vaguely like a possession these days," Faith said, but she was smiling.
"What with Sam and Logan going at it... well, not in that way."
Sam & Dean
"He deserves whatever he gets," Sam insisted, turning the kettle on.
"I have to agree," Dean shrugged, "the guy was a dick. Talk about posessive."
Faith
Faith hid her grin.
"Yeah, you see why now I tell you that you're not posessive, Sammich? Because I was living with that for a little less than a year."
She nodded.
"The bottom line came when he wouldn't let me go to the bathroom by myself."
Sam & Dean
"Ouch," Sam's face went red.
"So this is different how?" Dean asked.
"I did it for medical reasons," Sam insisted.
Faith
"Yeah, he was just paranoid that I would leave. Or meet someone else. Or start sleeping with someone else."
Faith shrugged.
"All fun and games until Faith doesn't get Faith time."
Dean
"So he was like your personal guard dog," Dean chuckled.
Faith
"Kinda," Faith said.
"But less awesome. In some ways, it was my fault. I mean, I hooked up with him after leaving my husband. I think he was worried I would do the same to him."
Dean
"Which... you kinda did?" Dean chuckled.
Faith
Faith shook her head.
"I was single for a while. Kim came along months later. And then Sam was months after that. Well, you were first, Dean. But we weren't together together."
Dean
"True," Dean shrugged.
"What a loser."
Faith
"Don't call Sam a loser," Faith joked.
She paused.
"Well, it was my fault. I think I gave him misguided ideas about a future with me when that wasn't ever on the cards. He's a good guy, despite first impressions."
Sam & Dean
"Yeah sure," Sam rolled his eyes, making coffee.
Dean closed the laptop and got up, heading back to his bed.
"I still say he's a dick."
Faith
Faith grinned faintly.
"If it makes you feel better, Sam, I like you more."
Sam & Dean
"And I know that, and I am completely good with that in my head," Sam assured.
"That guy just knows how to press buttons is all."
"And the Winchester buttons aren't too solid," Dean mused.
Faith
Faith nodded, then stood. She walked over to Sam and slid her arms around his waist from behind.
"I'll press better ones, if you like?" she grinned. "Sam-I-Am, coffee?"
Sam & Dean
"Mmm, thanks," Sam grinned, swaying his hips a little.
He handed her the mug he'd just made.
Faith
Faith took it and reached up for a kiss.
"Look at you, with your slutty little hips," she grinned.
Dean
"Do you guys need some time alone?" Dean asked absently from the bed as Sam obliged the kiss.
Faith
"You would leave if we did?" Faith asked, glancing back at him.
She took a sip of coffee, then handed the mug to Sam.
Dean & Sam
"Yes," Dean said seriously, "because this is almost sickening."
Sam took his own sip before getting back to making his own mug.
"This could be a long night," he smirked.
Faith
Faith grinned, taking the mug back from Sam, so he could continue making his own.
"That we briefly shared coffee?"
Sam & Dean
"No, but the coffee could keep us awake long enough to enjoy a good amount of-"
"Ok I'm gone," Dean rolled his eyes, getting up and grabbing his bag of food.
"See you kids in the morning."
Faith
Faith grinned and sat down on the edge of the bed, nursing the mug between her hands.
"Bye Dean."
Dean
Dean shook his head, amused, as he disappeared out the door.
