"So I was just wondering if you could help," Faith was saying.
Xavier was quiet for a minute, before he answered. "How soon can you get back to New York?"
Faith considered the question and Dean's driving. "Uh... few days, not long."
"Now," Xavier replied. "I'm not entirely sure of this working one hundred percent. You are familiar with Cerebro, yes?"
Faith nodded, though Xavier could not see her. "I was given the basic rundown, yeah. But I thought you needed to know exactly who you were searching for."
"Usually, yes, that is the way it works," Xavier told her. "But being that we don't know who he is, I may be able to use his telepathic imprint to find him. You've all had contact with him?"
"Yeah," Faith replied. "But what do you mean about the imprint?"
"Every telepath, no matter how experienced, will have a certain... signature, if you will. A mark that makes them distinct," Xavier explained. "If I can take a look in one of your minds, I can take that mark and use it to target this mutant specifically."
Faith thought about that for a second. "We'll be there as soon as we can. Thanks, Charles."
