"Welcome to Forks," Carlisle said to the rest of his family, as they stood out the front of their house.
Esme smiled faintly, threading her arm through her husband's. "It's peaceful."
"It's sleepy," Rosalie put in.
"And the Quiluete?" Edward asked.
"The Treaty stands," Carlisle assured him.
Alice swayed a little on the spot and Jasper held onto her arms, steadying her.
"I'm ok," she told him, before glancing at Edward.
Edward grimaced slightly, reading her mind. He nodded.
"Man, I hate it when you guys have your little conversations," Emmett complained.
"Come inside," Carlisle said before a fight could break out. "Let's unpack."
