Faith breathed deeply through her nose, wincing in from the pains in her abdomen. She rubbed her stomach gently, eyes watering slightly.
She sat completely still for a few minutes, breathing deeply as she waited for the stabbing pains to subside.
Once they started to fade away, she lay back, trying to get comfortable against the cushions of the couch.
