"I'm almost scared," Tru said, looking down at the bowl of pasta.
Liam chuckled. "This is a bad idea."
"I know!" she agreed. "We're terrible cooks when we're cooking on our own, but we just collaborated on a horrible masterpiece."
"We're in this together," Liam reminded her. "We're both taking the plunge together."
"Yeah, but maybe we can just bungee jump together instead!" Tru said, nose wrinkling. "This is too much of a plunge."
"It's hard to screw up pasta, honestly," Liam reasoned. "It's almost impossible."
"I guess..."
The pair looked at their dinner again, before one of them had the courage to step up.
"Alright, on the count of three," Liam said, lifting his fork.
"I can't watch this," Tru said, closing her eyes tight even as she brought the fork to her mouth.
"One... two... three."
Forks went into mouths simultaneously, and horrified noises were heard seconds later.
"Oh my God!" Tru exclaimed, coughing. "That was deplorable!"
"Ok! I take back my statement!" Liam said, making a face. "You can screw up pasta."
