Faith woke with a start as the car lurched and then stopped completely. She yawned, and glanced at Sam.
"That didn't sound good."
Dean & Sam
"NO!" Dean was yelling and pounding the steering wheel.
"What is it?" Sam asked tiredly, having also been asleep.
"I've been meaning to stop at a gas station and get this shudder checked out-" Dean didn't finish his sentence before he got out and slammed the door.
He made his way around to the hood as Sam's eyebrows rose.
Faith
Faith leaned across Sam and peered out the window, looking around at their surroundings in the fading light.
"Awesome, middle of nowhere."
She pulled her phone out of her pocket and groaned.
"No reception. You?"
Sam
Sam took out his phone and shook his head, before checking the phone in the glovebox as well.
"No luck," he sighed, sitting back again.
"If Dean can't fix it we might have to wait for a truck driver to come by."
Faith
Faith yawned again, then rested her head on Sam's shoulder.
"Oh good... long night then."
Sam
"It shouldn't be too bad," Sam shrugged.
"Trucks haul supplies up this highway all the time."
Faith
"Well, then," Faith slipped an arm around Sam's neck.
She leaned closer and brushed her lips across his.
"Then I should take advantage of the time alone."
Sam
"Yes you should," Sam mused, turning to kiss her.
Faith
Faith grinned and kissed him again.
"Thought you might agree."
Dean & Sam
"DAMNIT!" they heard Dean curse.
Sam hesitated.
"Not so romantic with that in the background," he mused.
Faith
"When do we ever do romantic anyway?" Faith asked casually.
"We're more the hardcore type."
Sam
"Haven't we had the 'we should be more romantic' discussion already? Whatever happened to that?" Sam teased.
Faith
"You caved," Faith grinned, pointing at him.
"I was practicing iron control."
Sam
"I blame you," Sam insisted.
Faith
Faith made a shocked face.
"No way. Innocent."
Sam
"You are not," Sam scoffed.
"You make guilty look like the pope."
Faith
Faith pouted.
"Me? Little me?"
Sam
"Yes, little you," Sam insisted with a nod.
"Wolf in sheep's clothing, or whatever. You."
Faith
Faith bit her lip, looking pitiful.
"But... I'm just... a girl. An innocent girl."
Sam
"Does that really work on other guys?" Sam raised an eyebrow.
Faith
"Well, it did once," Faith said.
"Though, I was wearing a school uniform."
Sam
"Maybe you have to be wearing the uniform for it to be effective," Sam winked.
Faith
"Hey, I already did cheerleader for you," Faith teased.
"You've used your uniform quota for this year. Ask me in a month."
Sam
"I'll try and remember that," Sam nodded.
"Does this mean I only get one per year? Because Halloween totally doesn't count."
Faith
Faith grinned.
"Halloween is a freebie, though that's my costume choice."
Sam
"True," Sam nodded.
"But I do get some say in it, right?"
Faith
"Mmm, maybe."
Faith grinned.
"You'll have to find some way to convince me."
Sam
"You do know that really the only way we can convince the other to do anything these days is to threaten to withhold sex, right?" Sam pointed out.
"Nothing else works."
Faith
"Well," Faith grinned.
"We are getting really good at the sex thing. I think we've hit our stride. It's only going to get better from here. So, withholding it does tend to upset me."
Sam
"Same here," Sam nodded.
"So why don't we make a deal?"
Faith
"To... not withhold?" Faith raised an eyebrow.
Sam
"Yeah," Sam shrugged.
"Instead of threatening each other, we could just work on ways to butter each other up instead. Beause we don't know who's better at doing that yet."
Faith
"That'd be you," Faith grinned.
"Because I am easy prey to you."
Sam
"You're not as easy as you think," Sam insisted.
"I'm pretty certain one day you're just going to get sick of all the lovey dovey stuff and beat me up."
Faith
Faith chuckled.
"No, I'd warn you beforehand. I'd purposely miss your head when throwing something."
Sam
"Sure about that?" Sam smirked as more cursing came from the front of the car.
"What about punches?"
Faith
"I wouldn't punch you in the face," Faith teased.
"Too pretty."
Sam
"I love that you know I can't live without my good looks," Sam pouted.
Faith
"Awww."
Faith leaned over and kissed his pout.
"How about this... when I get sick of the lovey dovey stuff, as you put it, I'll just disappear without a trace. So you can't get injured."
Sam
Sam flicked her gently on the forehead.
"Not nice!"
Faith
"More assault!" Faith teased, pointing at him.
"First, you break my arm, now you're trying to give me head trauma."
Sam
"...Yeah, so?" Sam responded innocently.
Faith
Faith made a mock outraged face.
"I'm so reporting you."
Sam
"Go for it," Sam shrugged.
"What name are you gonna give them?"
Faith
"I'll report you to Angel."
Faith nodded.
"Oh wait. No, he'd side with you."
Sam
Sam grinned.
"Why don't you try again?" he teased, leaning his arm on the seat.
Faith
Faith poked her tongue out at him, pushing him away from her a little.
"I can't believe you guys are in love."
Sam
"It's forbidden, I know, but what could be more endearing?" Sam grinned broadly.
Faith
"Mmm, you should film it for me," Faith played along.
"Big fan of the man on man."
Sam
"Oh really?" Sam's eyebrows rose.
"I thought you were just into incest."
Faith
"Wincest, Sam," Faith grinned. "Only you and Dean."
She nodded.
"Well, as long as I was involved."
Sam
Sam leant forward and tapped her on the nose.
"Keep. Dreaming."
Faith
Faith chuckled.
"I will. In my dreams, you're very obedient," she teased.
Sam & Dean
"I'll bet," Sam smirked as Dean came back to the door, grumbling to himself.
"We're gonna have to wait for someone to come by," he announced, "and we didn't pass anyone, so it won't be anytime soon unless they come from the other direction."
"I'll put the radio on," Sam nodded, leaning forward to switch on the CB.
"I'll try and fix it with what I've got, but I don't think we're going far," Dean muttered, leaning in to open the trunk then making his way around to fetch tools.
Faith
Faith flopped down against Sam.
"Awesome."
Sam
"It's already getting dark, so I guess we're here for the night," Sam sighed.
Faith
"Serious?"
Faith peered out the window.
"There is no way we're all fitting in this car."
Sam
"You could always sleep on me," Sam teased.
Faith
"I could," Faith grinned. "Or I could camp out there."
She gestured out the window.
"Your legs are too long. They'll get in the way and I'll get no sleep."
Sam
"Well... I normally sleep sitting up in the front anyway, you know that," Sam shrugged.
"So you could have the back seat to yourself. I doubt Dean will sleep tonight."
Faith
Faith shook her head.
"Nope. I'm camping out."
Sam
"Fine, you do that," Sam nodded.
Faith
Faith grinned, leaning over to kiss him.
"You don't want to try and keep me warm?"
Sam
"I'm pretty sure it'll be warmer in the car," Sam scoffed.
Faith
Faith shrugged.
"Aww, you don't even want to keep me company?"
Sam
"Why, do you think you'll be cold?" Sam hinted.
Faith
"I think I'll be cold and lonely," Faith said, putting on a pout.
"And I'll be scared."
Sam
Sam sighed.
"Then what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't help you with that?" he tsked.
Faith
"And then what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't reward you?" Faith asked innocently.
Sam
"Camping?" Sam's eyebrows rose with a grin.
Faith
"Camping," Faith confirmed.
"Maybe we should put the tent up before it gets too dark."
Sam
"Well... we don't have a tent, but we do have canvas we can string up?" Sam suggested.
Faith
Faith grinned.
"You underestimate my girl scout skills," she told him. "I have a tiny travel tent. So we're covered."
Sam
"You're kidding," Sam raised an eyebrow.
"You bring a tent?"
Faith
Faith shrugged.
"One thing I learned while I was on the road by myself," she replied. "It's always best to be prepared."
Sam
"What, you don't trust Dean's driving?" Sam teased.
Faith
Faith raised her eyebrows.
"You've been in the car with him, right?"
Sam
"Well yeah, but he loves his car. He wouldn't let anything like this happen usually," Sam countered.
Faith
"True, but I'm talking about an unforseen accident. Like this one."
Faith shrugged.
"Anyway, why are we even talking about this? Shouldn't we be having sex in a tent right about now?"
Sam
"Shouldn't we be having sex right here right now?" Sam stuck his tonge out.
Faith
"We definitely should be having sex right now, regardless where we are located."
Faith leaned across and kissed him.
Sam & Dean
Sam gently put his hand on her jawline to hold her there as he kissed her back.
"Oh no!" Dean suddenly announced, appearing at the driver's door.
"None of that in here, thnak you very much. Out!"
Faith
Faith grinned and pulled away from Sam.
"Yes, Dad."
She reached across to open the door.
"Come on, Jumbo, tent time."
Dean & Sam
"What?" Dean was confused.
"We're camping out," Sam informed him as he got out the car and headed to the trunk.
Dean raised an eyebrow.
"Camping... out...?"
Faith
"Well, you didn't want us to have sex in the car," Faith shrugged.
She followed Sam to the trunk.
Dean & Sam
"You're kidding," Dean stated as Sam pulled out one of his bags.
"Not kidding," Sam shook his head.
"It's gonna be twentyfive degrees out, you'll freeze," Dean scorned.
Faith
"I'm sure we'll be fine," Faith said, grinning slyly at Sam.
She grabbed her bag from the trunk.
Sam & Dean
Sam winked back at her.
"Stay close to the road!" Dean called after them as they wandered off.
"But not close enough that I can hear everything!"
Faith
Faith grinned, taking Sam's hand as they walked.
"So," she said, looking up at him. "Apparently it's going to be cold. So, I guess that means you're going to have to keep me warm. Any ideas?"
Sam & Dean
"Plenty," Sam grinned, finding a small clearing and starting to set up.
Dean watched after them until they were out of sight, then grudgingly got back to work on the car.
Faith
Faith grinned back, and helped him set their tent up.
"Well, then, I'll have to repay the favour, won't I? Can't have you getting cold."
Sam
"Don't worry, I'm sure you will," Sam grinned, grabbing her shoulders and kissing her roughly.
Faith
Faith laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"It's cold, Winchester."
Sam
"Sorry, but pyrokinesis isn't one of my abilities," Sam grinned, continuing to kiss her between sentences.
"But maybe I could fire you up another way."
Faith
"Well," Faith said, shivering a little more obviously. "Maybe you should do that. After all, you don't want me to freeze to death."
Sam
"The night's just getting started," Sam swayed her a little.
"Wouldn't want to fire up the big guns too soon."
He flexed his arm a little.
Faith
"No fair," Faith told him.
"You know the arm flexing makes me weak in the knees."
She grinned up at him.
Sam
"Guess we'd better lie down then," Sam mused, sitting on the canvas and pulling her down onto his lap.
"Wouldn't want you to fall and hurt yourself."
Faith
Faith nodded and leaned back against him.
"That would be bad," she agreed. "Then I'd be all injured and unable to save the world."
Sam
"And I'd feel so guilty I wouldn't be able to live with myself," Sam agreed.
Faith
"And it would just be a shame spiral," Faith nodded.
"That's no way to live. Sex. That's the way to live."
Sam
"I agree," Sam nodded.
"So speaking of..."
