Rogue stepped behind Gambit and started rubbing his shoulders. Gambit sighed appreciatively.
"Ahh, that's nice Cherie," he said.
Rogue smiled.
"Rough day?"
"We only had the funeral yesterday and already Andy and Donny are at it."
"Oh?"
"Fighting over how their inheritance was divided up."
"Ahh."
"As I understand it, Johnny was very specific on how got what. Unfortunately, Andy and Donnyt have been very... displeased with how everything's been disbursed."
"Some people are never happy?"
"Something like. Personally, I think they'd be better off following Joey's example and consolidate what they did inherit instead of trying to steal what they think are the choiciest pieces from the others. Johnyy wanted his kids to work together, but instead they're waging war."
"Lame."
Gambit grunted.
"I'm going to try and stay out of it. That might be a lost cause, btu I'm going to try all the same. This war of theirs is going to reduce Johnny's empire to rubble it's they're not careful," Gambit paused. "Or Joey'll sneak up and takeover from behind. I wish I knew who ordered the hit."
"Joey maybe?" Rogue suggested.
Gambit listed his hands.
"All thress of them have motive and resources. I wouldn't have thought it was Joey's style, but..." Gambit shook his head. "Mark my words, this is going to get messy."
"I thought it already was."
"Oh it has. And this is just the beginning."
