"He's been in there all day," Meredith told Callie, coming up next to her. "Have you spoken to him since...?"
Callie shook her head. She took a deep breath, and then walked into the room.
"Ok, so I get why I haven't been camped out at Izzie's bed side holding her hand today, but..."
"I'm not talking about this," George snapped.
"Why?" she asked.
"Maybe it's the fact that I asked Izzie one hundred times what was wrong, and she just ignored me," he ranted, tears forming in his eyes. "And then there's the fact that when she actually needed help she trusted Cristina... Cristina, of all people!"
Callie reached out and put her hand on George's shoulder.
"And then there's the fact that she's your best friend and she might die on you... there's also that."
"Yeah," he croaked out. "There's also that."
