Dormant

Written by Nessa and AiMsTeR

Faith and Ty

Faith lifted her head as far as she could off the pillow, looking around at the room she was in. Dark, sort of drafty.

Chains encircled her ankles and wrists, keeping her pinned down on the bed, and one went around her stomach, and she closed her eyes for a second, feeling dizzy as Ty entered the room.

"Sorry about the room," Ty said casually. "Anyway, I'm just about to go get you something to eat, any requests?"

Faith didn't answer, turning her head to the side, not looking at Ty.

"Well, no pie for you."

~*~*~*~

Once Ty had left, Faith closed her eyes, breathing deeply, trying to get a sense of Sam.

"Please come get me," she thought, not realising the message might actually go through.

Sam & Dean

Sam tilted his head slightly, listening carefully.

"What?" Dean looked over at his brother from the driver's seat.

"I'm not sure," Sam's eyes darted, "did you hear something?"

He squinted a little in concentration.

"What, you're hearing voices?" Dean scorned.

"After what happened the other day? It's not so odd," Sam frowned.

Ty and Faith

Unknowing what was happening with Faith, Ty sent a little picture into Sam's mind, taunting him.

"I have something you want. Unless, of course, you're finished with her, finally?"

Sam & Dean

Sam jumped suddenly, making Dean jump.

"What?!"

"Dean it's him," Sam's eyes darted blindly.

"Him him?"

"Yes," Sam frowned, "I want her."

"What?" Dean was confused.

Sam held up a hand to silence him.

Ty

"But it seemed so final the other night," Ty said with a grin. "After she hooked up with your brother."

He tapped on the steering wheel as he drove, then sent through what Faith had looked like chained to the bed.

"You know, I only wish she'd smile more. She's pretty when she smiles."

Sam & Dean

"If you want to see her smile, let her go," Sam replied.

Dean frowned, eyes on the road, debating whether or not to pull over.

Ty

"Oh sure, because she'd be so glad to see you. Or don't you remember the accusations you hurled her way the other night?"

Ty chuckled to himself.

"But see, I'm growing quite fond of her. Well, looking at her, anyway. Nice rack on that one. So, I'm gonna keep her for awhile longer. You can have her back at the end of it. If she survives, that is."

Sam

"If she survives what?" Sam demanded between his teeth.

Ty and Faith

"I'm hardly about to kiss and tell, Sam."

~*~*~*~

A flash of yellow through dark brown eyes as Faith breathed heavily, feeling pains in her abdomen.

"I'm here."

Sam & Dean

Sam jumped again, frowning as he deciphered te two voices.

"Turn left!" he instructed suddenly.

Dean slammed the brakes on, barely making the turn.

"Where are we going?" he asked.

"I know where she is," he breathed.

Ty and Faith

Ty's eyes narrowed slightly as he listened to Sam.

What the hell was going on?

He kept driving, changing his course for further away.

If they had found Faith somehow, he was going to need to lay low.

~*~*~*~

"Does someone have a trick I don't know about?" Ty whispered in Faith's ear.

"Ugh," Faith groaned, turning her head.

Ty's mind wrapped around her own, pressing firmly.

"Get out!" Yellow flashed again.

Sam & Dean

"Faster. Turn right."

"How do you know?" Dean asked between his concentration.

"I can't say, he might hear," Sam shook his head, "just go. We're not far."

Ty and Faith

"That wasn't very nice," Ty scolded Faith, trying again.

Faith cried out, back arching as far as it could off the bed, before a flash of yellow crossed through her eyes.

"Hurry!"

Sam & Dean

"There it is!" Sam pointed, sighting the building.

Dean pulled in and Sam raced from the car.

"Sam wait!" Dean scowled, arming his gun and locking the car before he followed him in.

Once inside Sam bolted up a flight of stairs and into a hallway lined with doors. He carefully hesitated at each one, until he found the one that just felt right.

"FAITH?!" he yelled as Dean made it to the stairs.

Faith

"In here!" Faith called out.

She cringed, a sharp pain in her stomach.

Sam & Dean

Sam busted the door down, not even stopping to pull a weapon as he'd instinctually decided the room was empty.

He cringed when he saw her, rushing to her bedside.

"Hey," he breathed, "keys?"

Dean kept an eye out in the hall, before backing inside. He made sure he had his FBI badge in case people came snooping before starting to look the room over.

Faith and Ty

"I don't know," Faith replied tiredly.

~*~*~*~

Ty stopped at the side of the road, cursing furiously.

Then he narrowed his eyes, and let his mind wrap around Faith's again.

"Not so fast, little lady."

~*~*~*~

Faith's eyes flashed yellow for a second, and she let out a cry of pain, before her own mind fought back, somehow.

Dean & Sam

Dean came back to the couple in time to see her eyes shine golden.

He did a double take, as Sam pay more atention to the locks on the chains.

"Faith? Faith?!" Sam trie to get her attention.

Cringing a little, he looked around for something he could use. Spotting a pen on the bedside table, he quickly pulled it apart and began to use the spring.

Dean backed off a little, his hand going back to the flask of Holy water in his jacket as he stared at her.

Faith and Ty

Faith breathed heavily, laying her head back on the pillow. She took in pained breaths.

~*~*~*~

"Interesting..." Ty mused, pulling his prescence from Faith's mind.

~*~*~*~

Faith's eyes flashed again faintly, as an outside light crossed over her pupils.

Sam & Dean

Sam finally got the chains off and pulled Faith up into his chest to hug her.

"Hey, hey..." he tried to calm her, rubbing her back comfortingly.

Dean's hand went for Ruby's knife in his belt.

Faith and Ty

Faith took in a deep breath, the pains subsiding as Sam held her.

"I'm ok," she said after a moment.

~*~*~*~

Ty rubbed his jaw thoughtfully.

Maybe the kid had a few more tricks than he'd given credit for. Which was going to make it all the more interesting for them. Faith, especially.

"Go on," he taunted Dean. "She's possessed. Do it."

Dean & Sam

"Sam?" Dean's voice trembled a little.

Sam looked up, seeing the shock in his brother's eyes. He instantly let Faith ago and stood in front of him.

"What are you doing?" Sam's voice lowered.

"Her eyes..." Dean shook his head, as if trying not to believe it.

"Dean?"

"They were yellow," Dean breathed, looking Sam in the eye.

"Dean that's impossible," Sam reasoned, "we gave her the charms, she can't be posessed. And besides, the only demon we've ever seen with yellow eyes was Azazel...""

"Cass said not everything was as it seemed," Dean pointed out, "that there were 'forces' among us..."

Faith and Ty

Faith stayed where she was, though she sat up a little straighter.

"Well, before we go stabbing the girl, how about you give me some Holy water?"

~*~*~*~

"Don't listen to her."

Sam & Dean

"Yeah, do that," Sam insisted.

"Sam, you know as well as I do that Holy water didn't work on Azazel. Or Lilith, for that matter. It probably only works on black eyes."

"Dean, we're not killing Faith," Sam scowled, "don't be ridiculous!"

Faith and Ty

Faith stood, holding her hands up.

"What? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not get stab happy here."

~*~*~*~

Ty mused the situation. He couldn't let harm come to the baby, and so he needed Faith alive.

Dean & Sam

"Sam think about it," Dean shook his head.

"You don't know what that kid could have done to her while it was in the womb. You waited too long to get the abortion. Maybe it infected her with its blood just enough to-"

"Dean! Listen to yourself!" Sam scorned.

"No YOU listen!" Dean's voice rose, "this is all your fault to begin with!"

"What?!"

Dean stared his brother down.

"You had no right to do this to her," he fumed.

"We have no idea what 'this' is!" Sam insisted, "if it even is anything!"

"How else did she tell you where she was? Huh?"

"Maybe it was whoever keeps contacting me the same way, alright? Maybe this is all some big demon prank."

"You really believe that?"

Faith

"Well, I'm not hanging around to listen to the 'should we stab her or not?' debate."

Faith made a move for the door.

Dean & Sam

"You're not going anywhere," Dean made to follow her.

Sam stepped in front of him, giving him a warning look, before turning and grabbing Faith by the arm.

"We need to get out of here anyway."

"Sam-"

"Dean, not now. We need to hit the road."

Ty and Faith

"What if she kills you in your sleep?" Ty whispered to Dean.

~*~*~*~

"Fine, whatever."

Faith shrugged.

Dean & Sam

Dean skulked past Faith, leading the way from the building. He pulled his FBI badge on anyone that flanked them, including the motel manager.

Sam followed Faith, making sure they got safely out of the building without either his brother or girlfriend turning to kill the other.

Ty and Faith

"Run," Ty commanded Faith.

~*~*~*~

Faith stopped once they had gotten outside, swaying sligtly on the spot.

"No."

She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts.

Sam & Dean

"Hey, you ok?" Sam grabbed her shoulders, holding her up.

Dean kept an eye out on the street, before unlocking the car and throwing Sam the keys.

"You drive."

Faith

Faith shrugged Sam off.

"I'm fine," she said.

Sam & Dean

Sam sighed abruptly, before going to get into the driver's seat.

Dean waited until Faith was in the car before getting in behind her and closing the door.

"Where are we going?" Sam asked, without looking at either of them.

"Who cares? Away from here," Dean insisted.

Faith

Faith stared straight ahead.

"Wherever."
