Taylor was looking over some paperwork in the studio when his phone rang that evening. Not bothering to check caller I.D., he answered.
"Hello?"
"Good evening, may I speak with a... Jordan Hanson?" came a stern female voice.
"This is he," Taylor sat back in his chair.
"This is Constable Morgan from the Tulsa Metro Police Department. Now I can't go into specifics over the phone, but we recieved a call earlier today from another department in Nevada pertaining to a case over there, and your name came up upon investigation. The paperwork won't arrive until Friday, so I'd like to ask you to drop in to our police heaquarters on Friday afternoon if that's ok."
"Sounds serious," Taylor frowned.
"It is, Sir. Can we expect you on Friday afternoon?"
"Sure, sure," Taylor sounded as confused as he looked, "should I ask for you by name?"
"Yes. Either I or a Sergeant Patterson will debrief you. Thanks for your time."
"No problem," Taylor hung up.
His eyes searched the table as he tried to think of what it could possibly relate to. Coming up empty, he shook his head and got back to work. It couldn't be anything like a murder or they would have just shown up at his door, but still... serious?
