Bela reloaded her pistol as her cell phone rang. She paused to click the charge in before placing it back into the refrigerator and answering her phone.
"Hello?"
"Abigail?" came a female voice.
Bela froze, eyes wide.
"I'm sorry, you must have the wrong number. Goodbye," she quickly hung up.
She stared at the phone on the counter, breathing heavily.
A moment later, it rang again. This time she checked the caller I.D.
Unknown.
Typical.
"Hello?"
"Abigail please-"
"Listen to me. You have the wrong number. My name is not Abigail. Please double check your listings and have a nice day."
She hung up again, and ths time turned her phone off.
Breathing a sigh of relief, she turned towards her bedroom to get ready for a shower.
The phone rang again.
