Gwen

Gwen rubbed her eyes sleepily as she stood in line at the airport. She held the suitcase handle in one hand, passport and itinerary in the other.

What the hell kind of time was 4am anyway?

She yawned again, as she approached the counter, handing her documents to the girl who looked just as tired as she did, before putting her suitcase on the converyor belt.

Gwen stood there for a few moments, while the girl behind the counter processed everything, the clicking of the keyboard unusually loud in the quiet airport.

"Alright Miss Raiden," she said, handing Gwen her passport and ticket. "Gate 37. Have a good flight to Tokyo."

"Thanks," Gwen smiled, taking the documents and tucking them into her handbag. She hitched her bag higher on her shoulder, then headed off in the direction of customs.
